America uses NTSC if I'm not mistaken. No, they can't work on another version. You'll have to buy PAL.

The camera sounds good, I always got annoyed when you wanted to take a picture of something but couldn't because theres like one place where the camera spawns. As long as they save onto your hardrive so there viewable and can be moved to your computer.

Seeing as I don't live in the UK or US, I'm going to ask my brother to get it for me who lives in the UK and send it here. I just wont come onto the forums for like 3 weeks so you guys don't spoil it for me
EDIT: Yes! I just found out IV comes out in the UK 3 days after the US release so I should be playing it a week after you guys.
Do UK games actually work on your 360/PS3, because UK uses something like PAL and America use something else but I forgot.
They sell PS3's here for Pal and I always get pal games anyway. They sell pal and ntsc games here so I know what to buy and what not.
I don't know what america games use sorry.

There is no better console, some people will prefer the ps3 for its high definiton graphics, six-axis, controller layout etc and some people will prefer the 360 for its nice price, good graphics etc.
Personally I will always buy a playstation over an xbox because i don't like xbox's controller and I've used sony since the playstation 1 came out so I'm just used to it.
So maybe Sony was aiming for a different audience when they made the ps3, same with the 360.
But (and don't argue with me on this), the Wii beats them all

I actually think 7 stars would be good and when you get just 1 star you don't get busted they just take like a fine of you.

When I bought the game I would give it 10/10, but now after the whole game and unable to get the cheat device to work I would have to give it a 6.8/10 because of nothing to do at all. But maybe that's because I got my Wii and I've been hooked on it since..

Well, right now the Xbox 360 has more interesting games IMO, but there are coming some great games on the PS3 aswell, like Metal Gear Solid 4, Tekken 6, L.A. Noire. I'm going for a PS3, it's just more interesting and all.
I heard someone say that the PS3 has like no games on it right now but when I went to check there's plenty to keep you entertained for over 2 years!

* DirectX 10 (which comes with Vista obviously)
* 5-10 GB's space
* 2GB's RAM (from the looks of the graphics, seems like most correct to me)
2 gig? Na no way, I mean the PS3 only has 256mb of ram right? And the 360 only has 512 I think.
Also I don't think you'd need 10 gb because C&C3 takes up like 4 or 6 gigs and they have put loads of detail and features into that game.
I think you need 1Gb for Ram and maybe 7 gig space. But for slower ram and graphics card users you should be able to tone quality down from the main menu in the game. This way most people can play it =]
Okay, but when the PS3 is running GTAIV, it's ONLY running GTA IV. Your PC is running Windows, and a bunch of other background programs which probably include your firewall and anti-virus. You don't want to run a game if ALL you have on your hard drive is the required space left. You want well over the required space so it doesn't slow down. On top of that, if you're running Vista, you'll want a higher amount of RAM just to keep it from lagging.Ahhhh noob alert. Sorry I never thought about that.
But this topic is getting crazy, 10gb of disk space? I don't think so. And you could probaly run it on XP.

In my honest opinion, I think if your going to buy a laptop/computer, then you should get 2 gig of ram. I have a really old computer which almost has 1gb of ram and runs off windows XP. Still goes slow, my brother bought it a new graphics card a while ago, so it can play most new games on low quality. And it has about 100gb of disk space. Hoping to buy a macbook though

Better Spawning:- I hate the way R* designs how vehicles and people Pop up instantly. Ex: Look at a dead end st. and look away from it then look back. in seconds a car appears. How about spawning them around the corner where the player cant see them initially

Got an Xbox 360 cheaper and better then the ps3 !
Also Grand theft auto 4 will be on Xbox 360 what ever happens to take two and if they get in a bidding war microsoft would wipe sony all over the shop floor.
And xbox live cant be beaten !
All the ps3 exclusives are coming to xbox 360 !
If you dont want to be owned get an xbox 360 !
