  1. If it's population control, then what would you say if it happened where you are?
  2. Franz-Ferdinand or some other well known band in the UK would be better for us but we decided to choose some guy we have not heard of or haven't heard of in years.
  3. I bet that the UK will do bad yet another year.
  4. I've really only watched the 2005 or 2006 one when I was on holiday, I believe it was also May.
  5. Mine is in the middle, not too bad and not too good either. we all have negatives in our life and we all have positives, I have a balanced life.

  9. Serbia will host one of the biggest music events of the European continent with the Final looming towards us on Saturday 24th May. The semi finals will also be held this week with one of them being tomorrow and the other being on Thursday. Gerard posting a somewhat excellent description of the Eurovision contest, with of course having a few changes since 2006: Here are a list of the countries taking part in the Eurovision song contest: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Netherlands, Turkey, Andorra, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Israel, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Hungary, Malta, Poland, San Marino, Switzerland, Spain, France, Serbia, United Kingdom & Germany Blue - Finalists (More to be added once Semi Finals are over) Red - Semi Final - Group 2 (To be concluded on the 22nd May 2008) Green - Semi Final - Group 1 (To be concluded on the 20th May 2008) There however has been a lot of criticism of some countries using English as their language to perform their songs. This year France who's main language is French chose to use English to perform their songs. Past Winners include Serbia (2007), Ukraine (2004), Finland (2006), Greece (2005), Latvia (2002), Turkey (2003), Denamrk (2000). Many countries have won it more than once and those being Ireland, France, The United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Netherlands. However some countries have never won it before which includes Portugal, Iceland, Azerbaijan and a few others who could be close to winning this year. Good Luck Europe! You can see and listen to some of the songs at http://www.eurovision.tv/
  10. I don't actually know where I got them. My sister found most of the effects what I added, so I have no clue but the main effect I used was Screen.
  11. I forgot Hunter8888 or something. Happy Birthday to him. Hope you both had a good birthday so far, the day is still young

  13. Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem, Nazareth I have seen the play, been forced to read the book and it has been drilled into my head. I don't care if there is a god out there any more.
  14. I'm surprised no-one else had decided to post this topic up about the disasters in Asia. Over 50,000 people are said to be dead in the Two disasters put together. Now the Chinese Earthquake has brought massive fears of Flooding to many people and they now begin to start fleeing to higher ground. Countries around the world are trying to aid these countries what are suffering. Many internet websites including the BBC are saying that the 'Burma aid situation 'improving'' and 'China declares national mourning'. Here are a list of articles on the subject (All from BBC.co.uk) Burma Cyclone Burma head meets storm victims Burma 'approves constitution' Burma aid situation 'improving' China Earthquake China 'quake couple return home [to england] China declares national mourning Challenges of Reporting in China China 'quake victims flee flood Chinese leader visits 'quake area China 'quake toll 'to top 50,000'

  18. I entered my own name and it says: Edit:
  19. It's also a crisis to the rest of the UK's economy. the Price of Bread will go up again if Scotland become independant, not only in Scotland but in England and Wales too.
  20. Yeah, well kind of. I'm sure every police force wants peacefulness but ours just relaxes and gets it done.
  21. Close IT!!! :D:D Please? Close IT!!! :D:D Please? Close IT!!! :D:D Please? I actually second that. How can you guys actually keep posting in this topic? It's epic fail minus the epic part. X2 X3 Lol X4 X5
  22. They wouldn't be able to fund anything, they get money directly from London and other major cities in the UK. Inflation would be through the roof if Scotland is to become independent because the Economy would be dropped massively.
  23. I think stun batons are used for crowd control along with fire Trucks (water Hoses). These are actually very common although in the recent Manchester riot it didn't happen (It happened when Rangers F.C. lost their game against St. Petersburg in Manchester).
  24. I know the Euro doesn't suck, I have a 2 Euro cent sitting on my windowsill waiting to be used, I actually bought a whole load of Euros to go to Amsterdam earlier this year however, the flight got cancelled and we had to go from New York to Edinburgh instead of New York to Amsterdam. The Scottish were independent many centuries ago but that was when the Scottish Population was below 1,000,000 and could be run by the King or Queen. I think you realise that the laws of Scotland and England back in 1300 were all the same apart from a few. It was messed up because there was a war between England and Scotland over Queen Mary of Scotland's death which was caused by Queen Elizabeth I.
