ganich
hey isn't it amazing..convert ps3 controller into xbox360 controller. check it out ..its a full tutorial. One of Ben's most popular hacks recently was the PS360 controller, a SIXAXIS modded into an Xbox 360 controller's shell, crashing his site not once, but twice upon its release. This project resulted in a lot of requests to duplicate this mod, showing either a very universal disdain for the PS3 controller's decade-old shape, or some strange obsession with the Xbox 360's chubby, winged form. Unfortunately. Ben didn't have the time to meet all these requests (plus he charges an arm and a leg), so we asked him to show you How-To build your own PS360 controller. It's not terribly difficult, just takes some time, elbow grease and, of course, lots of hot glue. Let's get started! -- Click Here For Full Story the reason for not posting full article here is that there are too many images and instructions that difficult for me to put eacch and every..don't think i am spamming.if anyone can post all the images and info here..he can post it again and my post can be edited. The Bossman
wouldnt it be the other way around. turning an xbox controller into a ps3 controller? I think he means 'convert the PS3's buttons over to an Xbox 360's joypad', not the other way around.
Spaz The Great
And shouldn't THIS be in Gaming? Pretty cool, if you prefer the 360's controller shape.
MrLlamaLlama
Ben Heck s one of the greatest modders ever. He modded a fully functional 360 into a laptop for a freind, which funmctioned as both... Love it...

Dude, just because you personally don't like it doesn't mean it's a waste of time. A lot of people think the 360's shape is more comfortable. And you might be able to get a local tech to fix it. You don't have to send it to an official company to get it fixed, y'know.

Presumably, to execute a modification of this calibre must mean you're pretty confident anyway, meaning if it 'Brakes' (it's breaks) you should be able to repair it yourself... And as spaz/anonymous/spaz the great (whatever) said, it's a matter of opinion whether or not it's good. that word again :OPINION
Spaz The Great
I was actually going to point that out, that you'd probably be able to fix it yourself. But you didn't build it from scratch, for a lot of the pieces are from Sony/MS themselves, so there is the possibility you wouldn't be able to fix it.
