MarkD1990
so did you people know what the engines capapilities were before you saw this these videos?
jeremyjeremy00
if its euphoria engine, why does it say endorphin at the start and end of the video!!?!?!!
MrLlamaLlama
Endorphin is the program used to create the scenes you see there. Endorphin runs on the euphoria engine, which controls the physics, how things react to their surroundings, each other and being hit in the face with poles
Harwood Butcher
I downloaded it a while ago. Never really got into it though.

Pandora
sorry for asking but werent they gonna use the RAGE engine? or is that something else? They are. See the Euphoria engine as a type of add-on to the RAGE engine.
GiiBz
Can you dl this? Someone said earlier (OGTAM?) Where can I download?
Pandora
Learning edition is availible on their site. http://www.naturalmotion.com/euphoria.htm Oh, wait. That's Endorphin.. But it's pretty similar to the Euphoria engine in what it does.
MrLlamaLlama
I might be wrong, but apparently, SSBB is confirmed to have naturalmotion too... Looks like it's worth downloading, just to mess about with... incorporation into PS work... This is gonna be fucking great, like, full, proper artificial intelligence. Pandora
As far as I know it doesn't. There's some chance it uses Havok's physics engine. SSBB was listed on their site for a short time and then disappeared.
MrLlamaLlama
I've been messing around with endorphin, it's actually really really easy to use, and damn fun when you get used to it, and realise just what can be done. I supose it's entirely different from a development POV though. Where i'm setting specific parameters, the ones in game have to be subject to change all the time. So, basically, this program is running at full pelt, several times over, ontop of everything else that needs loading / rendering / displaying, all at the same time. That's insanity. I recommend it to anyone who's PC can handle it.... it's running like a dream on my laptop, so you should be ok. It'll give you a feel of what IV will actually be like in terms of physics, and put in perspective just what is possible...
