qTRUq
When playing vc-mp the game laggz. then when i pause it to change something it crashes as soon as i unpause it. 1 time i was playing and the lagg went away, at that same time my friend said i left the server but i was still in the game but didnt see the other players and the game was runnin fast. I have broadband with another computer runnin the mp without any problems. what could be causing the lagging? It seems to lagg when other players are in the game. I get this error about vc-mp when the game crashes: Exception At Address: 0x0064DEF1 Registers: EAX: 0x05C20484 EBX: 0x00000001 ECX: 0x05C20484 EDX: 0x00000000 ESI: 0x046AF3D0 EDI: 0x05104EC0 EBP: 0x04709108 ESP: 0x0012FD38 EFLAGS: 0x00210202 Stack: 0x042B3880 0x00655859 0x046AF3D0 0x00000000 0x0066D9D1 0x042B3880 0x047090E8 0x0075CA74 0x059A9BA8 0x00000000 0x0064D057 0x04709108 0x04856248 0x00641486 0x047090E8 0x00000000 0x0075CA70 0x0075CA74 0x0075CA74 0x00541541 0x059A9BA0 0x0075CA74 0x0075CA74 0x00566599 0x0075CA74 Anybody knows what that coding mean? WRX22B1998
ye the same situation happened to me: it wasnt laggy, but, everyone just disappeared or something, i was running around and there was nobody anywhere. vc-mp crashes tons for me, like every 20min or so. sometimes more often, sometimes (usually not) less often. not really much u can do about it. EvoLuTioN
The players disappearing is probably because the server is disconnecting you due to excessing ping. This can be due to insufficient memory or your internet speed is slow. I'm not sure if there can be another reason!

WRX22B1998
ya but vcmp doesnt lag for me...at all. it just crashes like...*tries to think of simile*....just crashes a lot. like once every 10min. then sometimes i click ok on the crash thing, dont send, then i connect to server again, it goes to loading screen then to the taxi place with that music of the video game, then says connecting to IP, then crashes. then the next time is ok, for about 10-15min and sometimes, i will be playing, like ~20 ppl in the server, then like 8 of them time out one after the other. freaky. WRX22B1998
so your saying vice city has higher requirements than those? desktops can also suck for games, if they dont have decent specs. although in a lot of instances, laptops only have intel integrated graphics, yet that would probably be good enough for vice city Edited July 2, 2008 by WRX22B1998
will99
Do you have MSN, or any internet tab open when you play it? because it causes my SA-MP to lagg. And still, I get an error, but it is just random words in my opinion. Try unistalling VC-MP and re-installing it.
