Hansui Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 so i got this annoying virus (trojan.generic) which i got from someone's computer after i copied some pr0nz, when I inserted my USB to my comuter, the Avast antivirus detected the virus and i clicked "delete" and I thought its over... and then when I inserted it on my mate's laptop, the virus was again detected and this time, the USB is now denied... but i managed to open it though well, all I want is to permanently remove that virus... is there any way to do it? I did that when I disinfected a PC from an Internet shop - it found over 9000 traces of the worm, and they're all gone. Effective 'yan, pare... azn Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 I used Avast, and set it to schedule boot-time scan or something. It boots up your computer, but scans it before it fully loads the computer, so it can remove it properly. The virus doesn't do anything but annoy you, though.
