bryan
This is the moment that everyone has been waiting for, well at least in Europe! The Sony PSP will be released in Europe on September 1st 2005. The PSP will come in a fantastic Value Pack brimming with extra content. In addition to the PlayStation Portable system itself, the Value Pack - priced at €254.99 - will include a protective Pouch, Memory Stick Duo (32Megabite), Battery Pack, Headphones with Remote Control, AC Adaptor, and Wrist Strap. The package will also include a sampler Universal Media Disc (UMD), demonstrating the versatility of the PlayStation Portable with video, music and game content. In addition, early purchasers of PlayStation Portable will be able to order Spider-Man 2 on UMD Video as an extra value bonus gift, when registering their new console. David Reeves, President of SCEE, said that "with more than 100 PlayStation Portable game titles currently in development worldwide, the ability to download and listen to digital music, and view feature films with breathtaking screen quality, PlayStation Portable lets users control their entertainment options, all in a single package." Chris
Still a bloody rip off though, it's like 50 quid more expensive than in the US. I'm not getting one, not just for that reason though.

Spaz The Great
Yeah i agree Sony are a rip off they make PS2 and then they make a smaller PS2.Im not buying one a psp because it too small and exspenive They make a smaller PS2 so it fits in better areas and comes with a built in network adapter and price it the same as the old PS2, but yet they are a rip-off? And of course the PSP is small, it's a handheld, how fuckin' big should it be?
Airashii
Yeah, They are very expensive, If I wait untill it comes down to 200 Euros then I should be able to afford it. The thing that bothers me is that I won't have much oppertunity to play on it and so it may not be worth it but the battery length won't be a problem
Spaz The Great
Yeah, anytime you're bored or something just whip it out. And you can watch movies and listen to music, so it's not like playing games is all you can do. I take mine with me everywhere.
bryan
Why does everyone think things are so expensive....? Of course I know things can be expensive - but it not how much it costs but how much value you get. I mean why wait? If you want a PSP, you don't wait a year for the price to become low, I think it's worth it considering what you can do with it. Movies, Music, Games (with stunning graphics)...It's all good!
