Bear
I have loads of songs on my Creative and many were Downloads that can't be found on CDs. These were all on my old computer. Then my old laptop broke, I spilt a drink on it (stupid I know). So I have lost all these songs I can't get anymore. I can't download them because I don't download, my friend did it for me. So is there any way that I can copy the music on my MP3 player onto my new laptop? I have a Creative Zen and use Windows Media Player. Please help. WRX22B1998
hmmm legal stumbling block but il ignore that ... plug in your MP3, and set it to be as a removable disk (maybe it does this by itself), so it comes up as its own letter eg F:\ then go to search search in f:\ for file name *.mp3
Huckleberry Pie
If the Zen allows for mass storage, then slapping them in as an ordinary thumb drive may help.

WRX22B1998
Hmmm OK. So, when you plug in your MP3 to your computer, in My Computer does it come up as a removable drive? like this >> So if it does, then you gotta click start >> search. then search for file name of " *.mp3 " (without quotes) and choose location of F:\ or whatever drive your mp3 is.. Bear
Thank you, and I managed to figure it out. That is what happens I guess when you click random buttons.
Spaz The Great
Thank you, and I managed to figure it out. That is what happens I guess when you click random buttons. Chestnut has a Creative Zen Vision:M, and when we plug it in, it just gives us directories. We manually put all the songs in, and then manually take any out that we need. genrox, what?
