Huckleberry Pie
OK, so I was doing some research on my dad's SUV, and as it turned out, the name "Pajero" in Mitsubishi Pajero is Spanish for "wanker"! I laughed hard at that, although there are some more examples of unintentional innuendo in the auto scene: • Buick LaCrosse – French Canadian slang for masturbation • Chevrolet LUV – What a generation of US teens had in mind when buying one • Daihatsu Naked – Why? • Ford Pinto – Portugese slang for penis. Hopefully never prangs a Honda Fitta • Honda Fitta – Scandinavian slang for female genitalia • Isuzu Bighorn – A car name straight out of a 70s sitcom • Isuzu GIGA 20 Light Dump – Be grateful there’s no Heavy Dump • Mazda LaPuta – Spanish slang for prostitute • Mitsubishi Pajero – Spanish slang for wanker • Willys Jeep – Classic car, classic innuendo And some car model names that gave me a WTF feeling: • Mazda Carol • Mazda Mysterious Utility Wizard • Mazda Proceed Marvie Will Breeze • Mitsubishi Lettuce • Mitsubishi Mum 500 Shall We Join Us • Nissan Cedric • Suzuki Alto Afternoon Tea • Suzuki Every Joy Pop Turbo • Toyota Cist • Yamaha Pantryboy Supreme
Urbanoutlaw
Pinto was also a pony in the "old west". Little Joe rode one in Bonanza. http://bonanzaworld.net/bwgallery/gallery/...um=16&pos=
