claudem
Remember this is only a rumor from twitter not real info. As Franklin holds a gun to Claude's head after tracking him down to a shack in the country the man without a tongue finally speaks to reveal Salvatore Leone is still alive That was only a decoy, a body double in Gta 3. That gunshot at the end of the game was Salvatore getting revenge after she betrayed him by sending one of his men. Salvatore by that stage had fled the yakusa to Vice City or San Andreas Probably the latter as he knew it from that casino business in the 90's. He's the antagonist of Gta 5 and his former bodyguard Mike is one of the protagonists of Gta 5 Michael. Michael's wife Amanda who is angry at him for neglecting her teams up with Salvatore (who has a fondness for young women) to betray him to the feds. Michael, Franklin and Trevor are planning a massive bank heist on Los Santos Bank with the help of insider Ken Rosenberg who has changed professions from a lawyer to a banker since the events of Gta San Andreas. It was thought Cesar went to liberty city to avenge the death of Catalina by Claude but It was actually Salvatore who killed him in revenge for Cj's betrayal in Gta: San Andreas. The final mission is called the last don and is set in a military base where Salvatore and Amanda are about to escape You have a full wanted rating. What do you think? Victor_Vance
That sounds terrible. How many times are we going to have to explain GTA 3 characters don't exist in the NEW GTA ERA, which is IV and V. And that's just one of the worst plots I ever heard for a game.
TUN3R
What the other guy said, give it a break with these stupid rumors. So far the only GTA rumor that was ever true (the ones regarding the location don't count, those were just lucky guesses) is the fact that GTA V has multiple protagonists, but even that was predictable as hell. Trevor_Philips
How many times are we going to have to explain GTA 3 characters don't exist in the NEW GTA ERA, which is IV and V. Not that I'm pushing the OP's plot theory, but this isn't entirely true. At least three characters so far (not counting Lazlow due to him being a real person who aids in writing for the GTA games) have crossed over into the GTA IV/V era: Fernando Martinez, Jack Howitzer, and Derrick the Dodo. BlackListedB
Don't spoil GTA 3 for those who didn't finish, not just me, but anywho, yeah, The whole and ENTIRE point of GTA V is to explore and lovingly craft Los Angeles and parts of California in the new gen hardware possibilities that PS3 and Xbox360 have afforded Liberty City last time out, this is absolutely no different then GTA IV as it was built to represent New York City, but in it's own GTA universe as always. The main idea as the book Jacked mentions is that it's a 'love letter', which sounds silly, but why would Rockstar develop in the USA or even become US citizens if they didn't have an affinity for it (Sam Houser is Nationalized, in case you missed it) People make a helluva lot of assumptions about Rockstar's thinking or grand design, shall we say, but it's rather simple, before moving to places unknown, they want to properly represent the locations they like or love the most, and of course, within US borders thus far. What might come as something of a surprise is if they really decided to do the same for Edinburgh, Scotland! haha Edited May 5, 2013 by BlackListedB
Victor_Vance
Dude! Why do you always take the topics out of context?? And also who cares about spoiling GTA 3 the game's 13 years old.. Edited May 8, 2013 by Victor_Vance
amazingdude
@tuner agreed, radio station characters are not to be linked with the main line characters.
Trevor_Philips
They're still characters in the game and they crossed over, no matter how one tries to reason it.
BlackListedB
All the untied plots of previous GTAs and characters presumed dead or MIA will be found and their stories neatly tied up together in this last installment GTA on current hardware. Once we move to new consoles no more complaints over re-visiting Vice City in Hi Def, just PLEASE, please drop it, lets move this franchise as far forward as we can without rehashing things over and over, game play mechanics and missions aside
