Taime
Yes i know this is quite a sad topic but is anyone hoping the characters hands wont seem to be like lego cause im wanting individual hand movements just to give that extra feel to the game because GTA3 their hands seem to cup kinda and its kinda annoying me because their hold every weapon pretty much the same. If they had individual hand movements you can see them pull the triggers and hold on to the object as they would in real life cause it will make the characters seem more alive
Gerard
Yea, i agree with you entirely. Better body scupting and animation would really increase the playability and believability of GTA4. Has anyone played SWAT 3 or 4? I have both, and they (especially SWAT 4) have some brilliant weapon/tool usage animations. For example: pulling out the pin from a CS canister and lobbing it gently into the next room; fixing C2 to a door and counting town (3,2,1) on fingers before triggering with remote; and loads like that. If we had anywhere near that quality of player animation in the next GTA, it would be so much more engrossing. This could also benefit the (hoped for) interactive environment, such as most htings being destructable.
Akuma
omgwtfbbq agreed SWAT 4 rox All CJ can do is walk into doors and punch doors.
Taime
if GTA was real life CJ would be in hospital more often with broken fingers or smashing his skull in Star wars Rebel comando (i think its called that) that has the 123 finger countdown and screen visor that cleans those levels of detail are those extra touches that make me want to play games like that and when CJ falls from somewhere high all you hear is a crack and him fall over its an 18 at least show some proper falling results like his body landing in diferent mangled ways not just one instant death or a bone poppin out that would be more believable and gory

C.O.D
Play the Game True Crime: Streets of L.A.? See that everyone in the game (including people outside cutscenes) have their own personal hands! Play the game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater too, I really hope Rockstar observe the body shape and sizes in MGS3 game.

Slayer
they definetely need some lifelike animations for gta but as long as they don't completely change graphics and physycs engine, it's gonna suck.
