Multiple Playable Characters?

What if there were more than one characters to use (and develop)

So different missions require different characters, eg. if one was a female, you could use her to infiltrate the police station and use her womanly wiles to get past the officers in order to obtain the report filed on the other character who has been under surveilance....

Just an idea - obviously though you wouldnt want more than two main characters or else it will become confusing and detract from the game.

I think it would be nice, u pick a character at the begining of the game and follow the same storyline, so u see all sides of the story

I agree with Righty, it would be like 25 To Life witch had the worst story in history; well at least in my opinion.

I'd prefer to have 1 character playable only in the next gta, i dont want to compromise the storyline for 2 characters.

I agree with everyone who says only 1 main character. It would be weird playing as both and would mess up the game.

Yeah it seems unlike GTA but would if they set it up in a way where you dont just pause and change the character. You'd have to go to their house or a meeting area after they called you for some help. You arrive at the area and go into the cut scene and then when you come out you're the other person...it might be confusing but it would be more on the GTA side to do something like that.

yeah i like my idea the best. but more like the going to your girlfrends thing or being able to switch on the street.
