Madlabrador 1 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 playing as a yardie could b good, im getting bored with the mafia, and i dont like the idea of tokyo and the yakuza. or i think it would be cool if u was a member of a biker gang and had 2 fight against other biker gangs ect , somthing that hasnt been dun before and how cool would it be if u could recruit your fellow bikers and cruise around causing trouble an running down gangs of chavs? K_P 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 I think the second idea is good, maybe they should use the biker gang story and fighting rival biker gangs is VCS but keep the chavs in for GTA4 - which is likely to be London
Scott. 16 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 Yeah a chav gang!. Or you could bring back the Loonies from GTA II.
K_P 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 Imagine being Kent Paul - the leader of the chavs - all you do is drink and cause trouble - that would be fun.
Scott. 16 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 Yeah! Kent Paul would be a great Main Character.
K_P 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 I always think Kent Paul as the main character for GTA 4 as its likely to be in London, and we all know he's from england, also he's a loud mouth and comes up with funny stuff everytime he speaks.
Scott. 16 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 Yeah hes great isnt he. He would be a really good main character.
Bear 9 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 yeah he would be a great main character. He always knows what going in (VC) so mission orpertunities would always be there. He would make London more interessting. You could see how he met Maccer.
Scott. 16 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 Maccer could also be a good main character. He'd be so funny.
K_P 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 Maccer's the one who enjoy's masterbating right? And he's english too.
Bear 9 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 yeah he was. Probably wouldnt be a manin character as thats all he actually done. Not very good missions. It should be set after GTA 3 so you can find out what happened to the Yakuza and the mafia. After all most were wiped out.
K_P 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2006 *GTA3 SPOILER* Yh, in GTA 3 we lost Salavotre, Kenji and Asuka and if we did work for either Mafia or Yakuza, hopefully at the end we will get to be the new leaders of either Mafia or Yakuza.
TheTrekman 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2006 I say that GTAIV will be set in the present, Claude coming back as the main character (since this game is the true sequel to GTAIII, it only makes sense to be a continuation of Claude's adventures), and set in a GTA parody of the British Isles. Movies for inspiration would be Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Layer Cake, and all the other recent British Crime movies out there.
K_P 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2006 If Claude does come back for GTA4, i hope he starts talking!
Bear 9 Report post Posted July 31, 2006 How do we know Claude is still alive? When you hear the gun shot it doesnt mean Claude shot Maria someone might have shot them both after all Claude was hated. It couldve been Catalina, who said she was in that helicopter it might have been a decoy like Toreno's death.
Bear 9 Report post Posted July 31, 2006 It would be a major twist, as he cant shout you never know if he got shot.
TheTrekman 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 I think it's safe to say that Claude is alive at the end of GTAIII. Not only do you continue playing him at the end of the story missions, but that shot in the end was just for comic effect. Plus, I don't think he has to talk if he comes back in GTAIV as the main character, but if he does talk, it should be used sparingly.
Bear 9 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 Well he cant talk as he is a mute. I dont think he made a good main character as he just had no expression he just did what he was told and thats boring.
tilly 1 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 no hes not a mute, maybe his vocal chords where just hurt when he was in gta3. maybe part of the start of gta4 he could be at the doctors in libert city(or VC or SA) and the doctor will say there was somehting wrong with his vocal chords that he got a disease from jail and they fixed his voice. and then you could hear him talk. Bear 9 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 He didnt speak in SA and CJ called me him a mute and a "Snake without a tongue" makes sense he didnt even groan in pain when on fire.
tilly 1 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 well maybe they thought he was a mute until they found out it was just his vocal chords. can somebody give me a youtube cutscene of when claude was in SA?
Bear 9 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 He was just in the background mainly but he just stared at CJ when Catalina was flaunting him infront of CJ at the race "Farwell my love......." was the mission.
tilly 1 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 i dont remember that at all.
Bear 9 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 The mission is in the Badlands strand. Before "Are you going to San Fierro" he never speaks even after he has lost a race and his garage.
TheTrekman 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2006 I personally don't think Cluade is a mute, just a man of few words. As Maria said on Chatterbox, "He doesn't talk too much."
