Nate10
I don't know to much about computers but I know that AMD;s kick ass and I think they're highest is liek a 4400. So a 3800 will kick a serious amount of ass like you said. I got an AMD Athron XP 400. And it's good enough but I need and want a better AMD. So mayber for my birthday i'll get something like yours. But ya, it looks good and the price IMO(I think) is affordable.
tommy vercetti guy
Yeah, no monitor drops the price from $1000 to $730.
Nate10
Ya, exactly. $370 is a good amount of money if you want to get a few games. Do you like have a good graphics card?
tommy vercetti guy
I think the nvidia that comes weith the PC can play some games in medium settings. The one in here is some shitty intel.
Carl J
Good spec but why are you getting Windows Media Centre? Thats only if you want to listen to music, play films and watch TV. I don\'t think you can play games on that Operating Sytem?
Righty
The only thing I don't like about that is the 128mb shared video memory. Other than that, it's pretty good for the price.
Gerard
Windows XP Media Centre can do everything normal XP pro can, but it comes with Media Centre (the software) and usually a remote.
Nate10
Ya. Just get a PC for sigs, gaming, and this and IMO you're set.
Chris
If you're serious about gaming you really should build your own. Getting all the parts separately will save you a lot of money, though if you don't know how to you're forced to buy one. That graphics card in the specs you posted is crap and you're probably right about it only being able to medium settings, which sucks, as presumably you'll want to play all your games at max settings, no? tommy vercetti guy
I would build my own PC, if I knew. Im, im fine with medium settings for now, eventually I'll get $200 and buy a better gfx card. Any suggestions?
Slayer
I say you can get some of the oldest graphics cards from 7 series, not sure though, it's up to you to check it. Other specs are just fine.
chris82
ATI > nVidia, you can probably get an x1600 or something which will be fine, then maybe we can play Counter-Strike Source. And MCE is basically XP Home with some new apps and thing, quite useless really, but you'll be able to do anything you can with XP Home.
tommy vercetti guy
Yeah, ragdolls and havok physics 4 life! Can nVidia GeForce 6100 run CS source with medium settings?
