Paul T.
http://pspupdates.qj.net/Goofy-exploit-by-...pg/49/aid/80581 According to this, Sony did not patch the GTA LCS savefile right! So that means people are gonna be able to downgrade do homebrew again. :clapping: I would like to thank Sony for sucking at patching the GTA LCS savefile. And thank you Noobz for finding this! :clapping: This is what fanjita had to say: You remember that the only thing holding us back from a downgrader for v3.03 was the lack of a user-mode exploit?Well, we don't like to be held back from anything, so we went back to basics and looked over some of the old exploits. And what do you know? We found one! We did a little digging into the old GTA exploit, and discovered that it hadn't been properly patched after all. We'll leave it as an exercise for the interested reader to figure out exactly how we got past the patch (and to give Sony a little while longer before the head-slapping "Doh!" moment ) They have released a homebrew called helloworld. It works, but the only thing you need to have though is a copy of a un-patched GTA-LCS. If you do not have one, then just find it at Ebay. I can't wait for Sony to release their firmware 3.04 and the new features will probably be "Security updates to patch the software vulnerability" Now all we have do is just wait for a downgrader or a homebrew app. in the near future. Paul T.
I don't think you can close it, I remeber back at gta4psp, I tried it with 2.71 and I just turned the psp off by taking the battery out.

Paul T.
yea there is no point in the Hello World App. The hello world app. is just a demo showing that the exploit does work.
Spaz The Great
Yeah, Hello World is just what is used to test the exploits. It will not mess up your PSP. Really, I don't understand why they release it, except for skeptics. I find it funny, though, that they have an OLDER exploit working on NEWER firmware. Epic fail, Sony... Epic fail.... Jared
"Hello World" is the world wide string for testing things basically, it's used mostly to test applications and computer related technologies.
