Yeah, them buccaneers did manage to leak the beta, but I won't be picking it up based on the fact that it isn't that optimised. And you're right, Spaz, I don't see the point of TS for consoles, unless if you can't get enough of it.

Try going to System Properties, and then Advanced. Click on the first settings button, and then tick all options. Save your changes, and then go to the Display control panel. Make sure the stuff in the Appearance tab is OK. Don't have XP right now, so I'm not sure as to where to mess with, but I hope this helps.

I find the console versions awkward and limited in terms of customisation, since building and dress options are limited to what's contained in the game DVD.

For legal reasons, such No-CD cracks aren't encouraged due to the fact that it facilitates illegal copying of the game, but it may be used if you really bought the game (unless if the local laws prohibit such hacks).

I mostly cheat in that game, but I don't mind, since I just play it for the lulz. Won't be trying it for now, it's still too early since I'm waiting for upgrades and custom content.

I don't see any dramatic graphical improvements, partly because EA decided to make things a little cartoony, perhaps? But at least nobody cares; R* developed and published GTASA with graphics that HL2 can pwn, but at least the former did sell well because of its gameplay. And you tried your hand at the leaked version (the Reloaded or Razor1911 release, perhaps? ) EA says it's buggy, so maybe waiting a few days will do.

Did you just download the game off a torrent? Other than some configuration files, we won't be giving you the original assets for the game, mostly due to legal issues. It is your responsibility to make a backup of your game before modifying it.
