How can I get my Dad to buy me a SideKick 3?
Huckleberry Pie replied to Husky's topic in Members' Lounge
I had one. A 3310 to be exact. My dad dropped it several times and it still works. The newer ones (the Nseries for example) were too good to be tortured, I guess. Some of them had parts that you can't buy at the shade-tree repair booths scattered in my neighborhood. -

I could've bought a Sidekick, too, but I guess I'm a Nokia fanboy. I did beg my parents for a phone; a few months later, a used 6230i came in. Maybe if you could prove to your mum or dad that you're worthy of being given with a Sidekick, or work for it, then that would be nice. -
What? All Pentium 4s are garbage, Athlons and even Semprons beat the shit out of them. Which explains why my cousin's Socket 478-based P4 PC used probably a hundred percent of CPU cycles when I try to convert a video. And that's a 2Ghz CPU.

Lol, no. It would be like the equivalent of "Speak like x" stuff or something...

Madness is quite better at Google search than Sparta.

Unless if we find some way to make the physics engine work in SA (say an inject or something), that would require porting the whole game into another engine, like the Source engine, which uses Havok.

I'll try. Maybe if I get a pretty decent job, instead of burning my dad's money on parts (like when we bought a PC for about 200 bucks), that card would definitely find its home in my board's PCIe slot. How about the 8800GS...er, 9600GSO? You know, the re-badged 88? Will that card work with IV decently?

Tried running GTA3 on an HP Pavilion 7855, with a 1Ghz Pentium 3, 128MB RAM, and an integrated video card. And guess what, it lagged a lot. It's no wonder why my brother gets pissed off when I try installing GTA or The Sims on an underpowered system.

I will try to shoop pictures.

In private life Shirley Temple was a tough little scrapper, an extreme "tomboy." She hung out with boys, played rough with them, fought with them, and was accepted as one of them. I guess she might have played deathmatch on GTA IV if she spent her childhood life these days... IT IS AWSOM!

Sorry, but anyone?

Uy, mga kasama, e kung pasabugin ko kaya printer ko... -
I'm not sure. My best bet is to use another name for the company; the Department of Trade and Industry in the Philippines suggests that if you're into running a business, make sure that you have a list of company names handy, just in case to prevent any naming conflicts.

Agreed. My dad made the mistake of insisting to buy an el cheapo Epson with a continuous ink system, only to suffer from printer jams and other issues. My mum suggested an AIO printer (forgot the brand, though, but I think it's not Epson) to do the job, but dad declined, saying that it's too expensive.

Bwisit talaga yung printer ko! -
I'm sooo pissed off. A project in the Japanese class, and the printer that we have at home really fouled up. We're just using black ink, and now it seems to be using that cart up in an alarming rate. Now let's just say that the yellow cart went empty. The printer just basically locks up and demands you to buy a new cart or wind up having a big paperweight in your desk, even if you're only printing a paragraph or two in black. They sell inkjet printers for less, but they will then bog you up when you buy replacements. And they don't agree at continuous systems, too (since they prefer to make profit out of carts rather than provide bottles and bottles of ink to feed the printer). To sum it up, don't buy Epson. It's not that I'm into propaganda or something, but it's just that they somewhat disappoint you when you're trying to use it properly. EDIT: Sorry if I posted a link (I don't intend to spam, you know), but feel free to sign the petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/epsonink/petition.html

Just like what WRX22B1998 said, recruiting cops with the recruit anyone cheat can do wonders, although I think writing a CLEO script for that will work.
-
OK, so I experimented a car spawn CLEO script from GTAF, since I don't feel like altering the original SCM files. The syntax goes like this, much like the vehicle spawn script in the MAIN.SCM files: {$CLEO .cs} // GTA SAN ANDREAS CAR SPAWNER 014B: 1@ = init_parked_car_generator #STAFFORD color -1 -1 1 alarm 0 door_lock 0 0 10000 at 2491.173 -1681.651 13.33686 angle 88.6415 014C: set_parked_car_generator 1@ cars_to_generate_to 101 0A95: enable_thread_saving 0A93: end_custom_thread The problem is that when I try to add a license plate string (one of which taken from Deji's custom SCMs), the game crashes. Is there a proper way of spawning a car with a number plate in CLEO?

5. Use it as a dental floss.

Hmm, not much to say, but here's the objective: Find an image that you like to shoop, and then make an altered image out of it using PS, Gimp or any other editing program. And please, no racist, hate-ridden or bigotry stuff. God Bless and enjoy... Here's my attempt: Still needs some work; I can't find a better image other than that, and I'm not sure about making the base pic even brighter.
