  1. He didn't say he spent that much on the games.... He said he spent that much on merchandise.
  2. Tailbones wouldn't give you more pop. That doesn't make sense. And a new tailbone every 3 months? Do remember that we aren't using one-sided boards anymore. So that's 2 tailbones every 3 months. That's 10 dollars, not 5. 10 x 4 = 40. 40 x 2 = 80. That becomes 80 dollars every two years. And if you're just doing it to have fun, and don't want to spend a lot of money on it, why not settle for a 60-70 dollar deck? Apparently decks have gone up in price in the past few years. However, 60 dollars is still better than 80, and that's if you go through a deck every two years((you can make them last if you absolutely have to)).
  3. Furthermore, with the danger of YOUR system failing comes the danger of THEIR system failing. I mean, honestly, who's to say they can't have a huge server crash and then EVERYONE loses their shit.
  4. Don't put music unless you ripped them from CDs you bought. And even password protected, people can crack passwords. Furthermore, for us Americans, the American government can seize any information from these servers that they want to. And Google has to comply.
  5. I'm not either... However, the mods are a lot of fun. And I actually heard of this mod like..... At least a year ago. Sounds cool.
  6. Well, it wouldn't help with those files considering how you can't access them. But it would, however, help prevent this issue in the future. However.... This means your files are no longer private..... I could see storing things that aren't that important and just clogging up your HDD.... But no personal files.
  7. Well, have two game directories, and mod only one of them, just to play around with it. I currently have three GTA SA directories.
  8. It pretty much comes out to 15/20 dollars a piece. It's a set of two for 40 dollars. You have to be 21+ and have a gun permit.
  9. Google "G-Drive" Anyone hear of this yet? While it has it's benefits, they don't out-weigh the cons.
  10. Tailbones not only get in the way((the more space you have between the ground and your tail, the better)), but they look ridiculous. And then, furthermore, you have to make sure it's in the back everytime you step on your board((I always just threw it on the ground and went for it)). Just slam the tail down((with nothing on it)) to stop. Shit. Who cares? The deck will still last for years, and they're what, 50 dollars a piece? You'd end up paying the same amount as buying new tailbones, AND you usually have to buy a new board anyways.... So just save your money.
  11. However, even Microsoft has admitted it was a failure. It's only been out, how long now?
  12. Lol, I didn't get it at first.
  13. Have you never heard of Good Charlotte, Blink-182, Sum 41, etc. ? And BTW, "pop punk" doesn't mean a mixture of pop and punk. It means a very pop-like trendy "punk". Kind of like how funk-metal isn't really funk + metal.
  14. I'm probably the only one who voted for boobs I've seen. And know. Well.
  15. I'm talking about the sole of my shoes because they're suggesting that I use the back of my heel to stop. Whenever I do kickflips my shoelaces usually start wearing out, not so much the toe area of the shoe. Yeah, it helps to make sure your laces aren't in the way. But you can wear out your soles from rubbing against the grip tape, too. I repositioned my feet a lot before tricks((while riding, so no simple lifting my feet)), so that was a lot of rubbing. But hell, simply walking around day-to-day wears the soles of your shoes out, of course skating will((regardless of what you do)).
  16. I'll vouch for the easiness of box-making. It is actually easier than it looks. Really, the hardest part to me is the creative process of WHAT to put ON the box.
  17. Skateboarding will shred your shoes, it's a fact. Get over it! Tailbones may save your tail, but it will only prevent you from progressing, trust me it will get in the way. But hey if you want to slap something on your tail it may as well be a tail devil spark plate. I'm not trying to be an ass, but really... don't bother with the tailbones. Wow, you're not trying to be an ass? You fooled me. (I jokes) All of the stuff I've read about tailbones said that they actually help the pop of the board. How else could shoes get shredded? "tail devil spark plate" The grip tape. That shit is designed for your shoes to grip to it... Purposely sliding your shoe against it tears your shoes up. That's why most modern shoes designed for skating now have these plastic/rubber pieces around the toe area, where you usually slide for kickflips.
  18. 2.5 x 2 = 5....... Aww... I missed my 9,000th.... However.... That's because I didn't realize I had 9,000 posts. Wow.
  19. Thanks. Technically modding any game that doesn't specifically say you can is illegal. And distributing the modified files is illegal, also. Or you could just get a dvd-rw (rewritable)..wouyld that work? I guess, if the PS2 can read rewritables.
  20. I meant using resources that could go to something else, which to me would be "wasting" them.
  21. Actually, you only warned people who went into the subforum before clicking the link. I wasn't warned at all until after reading three of the polls.
  22. Funny, you're saying it doesn't use more resources than XP? That's what I meant by wasting resources. Why have a bigger build than you need to. And even funnier, not too long ago you were on the bandwagon ripping Vista apart. Why you getting so dick-bent over people doing it now? Also, he's going for price, not only does 4GB of RAM cost more than 2GB, but Vista is more expensive than XP. Not everyone is a little rich kid.
  23. I was just wondering, because it didn't look much like a render, and I know that Photoshop can't render.
  24. If you've done it once, then it's started. Get on it. However, do you have a Bluray burner and blank Bluray disks? And is your PS3 modded in any way? If you can't answer yes to all of those, then you haven't done it.
  25. The played most of that entirely different anyways... To me it seems they tried to change the song up a bit and failed. Big deal. And some bands can't play live. Big fucking deal. Honestly, can't you just not care, as long as they are enjoying what they do and someone is enjoying how they sound? You come from a "professional music" family, don't you?
