a lot of the time i use iTunes cos i got all my playlists and whatever set up on it. but i do use winamp a fair bit, i like the universal shortcuts (good for when playing games) but yeah iTunes uses so much memory (was using like 65mb), compared to winamp which used like 15...pretty stupid.

yeah either you got ripped off or... when you formatted it for linux, would it have been in the linux file system (HFS or whatever). maybe not, because then you wouldnt be able to read it on windows. hmm...i'd be going back to where you bought it and tell them the problem. they'll probably replace it.
