  1. Hmm... So what does it do? If it's the Pedstats I'm pretty sure modding it aint gonna do much and may cause problems. If you wanted to edit his strength or w/e you have to edit the melee weapon stats.

  4. Ahh maybe I could help with some of those things... I just made a mod where you can get drunk by pressing buttons to consume alcohol... So if you want some help with those types of things I'd gladly do that It'd also give me a chance to learn a bit more about main.scm coding. Blah blah. I can also mod animations, maps, data files... Lots of things. When I mod in main.scm I don't really know what to do to be honest. I just manage to be able to find out by looking at the original main.scm and revising through the tuts I read before I started modding
  5. Hmm... After looking at coding a bit more I think this could be possible. If you were to define it as a variable or w/e you do (4@) then it is stored in the game memory. I could also put a marker on it like with the cars in levels to make it appear on the map and make it easier to find. Then you could do all sorts with it as a variable thingy... Specify things for it, change certain things... ect. I will have a go when I'm better at coding
  6. Neh! Just make sure you set the folder OFF 'Read Only' then it let's you replace the folder. And also check if all the files and folders inside it have that same option ticked off. By default the read only value is on (The weird square in the checkbox) and you have to click it once or twice til there is nothing in the checkbox... Teehee! (Random) If you don't know how to change read only then you should really go and read the manual Just right click the folder and click properties. On the new box or on one of the tabs of it, it'll have the read only option. You know how to click right?

  8. I'm working on a couple of mods to make hand-to-hand combat more fun and look cooler! I have some ideas in mind: Real Martial Arts: I know only Win Chun (Assuming thats how to spell it) but I will look on youtube for more moves. Combo Fighting: All the fight moves in San Andreas combined into two: {Enter} and {Click} Game Style: {Click} for punch, {Enter} for kick. Suggestions are welcome... Make it quick though. I usually finish mods the same day I plan them

  14. I have to say that I'd love to play as the main character of my machinima series, Scope... Name: Scope Age: 26 Nationality: USA Current Location (Vice City, Las Venturas etc.): San Fierro (SA Redesigned?) Previous Occupation: Vigilante Assasin *Attire: Cool black clothes, black cap and glasses. *Fighting Style: All sorts; Martial arts, Boxing, Kickboxing, Street Smarts *Gang: None History: Scope is a vigilante assasin hired mostly by gangs to assasinate other gangs. He accidently runs too deep into an operation when on a simple hit and things start to grow bigger and bigger... I might even make a mod of this after I finish with other stuff

  16. How about a huge garage around SA! xD (j/k) lol Well I've started to make my first main.scm mod for practise now... So maybe I'll try and slowly work it out eventually. I'll make a topic of it if I'm sure I'll be able to handle making it later and you can post any ideas/suggestions.
  17. I've always been resourceful, I perfer to pick things up myself most of the time. Which is why I left school and why the teachers hated me (Well, some of em) Well I'm trying not to confuse myself here. I'm 13 I already know HTML and am learning the rest of that tosh. So I think I'll wait it out a little for C++ and programming code. Wait until I'm about 16 or something.

Im learning main.scm at the moment and In 2 hours I've learnt the most basic script I could come up with (The amazing thing is I wasn't even taught how to do half of it) Just wanted to show off my glee as my character is repetitivly dying every 5 seconds. :MYTHREAD 0001: wait 2000 ms 00D6: if 8118: not actor $PLAYER_ACTOR dead 004D: jump_if_false @MYTHREAD 0002: jump @MYTHREAD1 :MYTHREAD1 0001: wait 3000 ms 0223: set_actor $PLAYER_ACTOR health_to 0 0002: jump @MYTHREAD = Unlimited deaths. So I hope soon I'll be making more advanced codes and maybe will work my first mission To make this topic useful to at least someone... Is there any tips you can give me while I am working on learning this? I'm using CLEO and Sanny Builder which isn't what I'm used to but I think I can manage.

Yea it's me on about modding again as I know about 6 types of mod I was wondering if it would be possible to make a main.scm mod where you can buy up to about 5 cars from any of the many car salers round San Andreas. Then the game selects that car and remembers wherever you get out of it and reloads it next time you come in radius. So basically when you get out it would set the car to spawn there... If you blow your car up then it will be gone forever and you'd need to buy it again. So this would make you have fun in taking care of a car that would actually be yours forever (If you keep it well). I'm not sure if it's possible for the game to save your cars mods like it does with your garage but that would be a cool feature. You could choose the licence plate that the vehicle will have and spawn with before you buy it and specify the colours (All should be possible in main.scm) So if anyone could make this mod that'd be cool. I'd do it but i'm still learning main.scm coding and even though I like people using mods that I created, I'm not going to keep my idea to myself, so I'll let you have a try until I learn main.scm Seeya!

Basic Car: SA Feltzer Luxory Car: SA Broadway Fast Car: SA Cheetah All around car: SA Jester You'll notice they are all SA cars but I love the handling in that game and with the big area to play in, I've spent more time in the cars

  24. I got to 1337 level I use a flying tank to do vigilante missions. Much more fun
