What island do you like/hate the most in GTA3? My favourite has to be Staunton Island, as it is nice and flat and there are lots of roads so you can easily find your way to pretty much any destination specified on the radar. I hate Shoreside Vale, there aren't enough roads and places like the airport and Wichita Gardens are separated by water. The roads have far too many hairpins, and all of this makes the firefighter and vigilante missions harder, as the game thinks you can get from A to B quite quickly and therefore gives you a short amount of time to do the task, but in fact you are confronted by hairpin corners or a body of water and you run out of time all too quickly. OK, that's my rant about Shoreside Vale over, but seriously, does anyone actually like that island?

Man this game looks good. 60 players? That's fuckin' crazy. I also think it should be called 'Rise of man', as it just seems only natural after 'Fall of Man'.

I didn't like any of the DJ stuff or Radio Del Mundo. I thought LCFR was pretty funny, and Double Cleff FM is always good for the slow-motion stunts for some reason.

When I played GTAIII for the very first time, I was crashing the car all over the place and noticed that you actually get money for crashing into other cars. At first I thought that might have been car insurance. Later I realised that it was just bonus money for causing general destruction.

If this is true, then I would expect exactly the same thing to happen when watching a TV show, for example. And the effects would be more pronounced in a violent TV show or film. So that means the millions of people watching TV every day are severly damaging their brains? I doubt it. This looks like yet another attempt to condemn violent video games.

I didn't find Max Payne's graphics too bad, it was a fun shooter, and the slow-motion was great.

Right now I'm playing Worms Open Warfare 2 for the PSP. It's quite fun, but the missions and puzzles get really hard in the last part of the game.

Really? I didn't know that. All I know is that really excessive cheating can prevent you from doing the mission "Madd Dogg".

I think the taser could make an appearance in GTAIV and be used by the poilce. I wonder why they decided to leave it out in Vice City. I have to say, the title of this thread is rather confusing...

Bad grammar and spelling pisses me off sometimes. I mean, I do expect to see it sometimes as everyone makes mistakes, but I absoulutely detest this new age of 'Internet Speak' used on MSN, texting and so on. It is slowly ruining the English language as we know it, and as it makes its way into other languages, it eats away at them too.

Nah, I tried "Turismo" again today and unfortunately had both Triads and Mafia hunting me down and shooting me.

I'm buying a PS3 soon (next week actually) and I'm disappointed that I have to get a 40GB model. Why did Sony decide to stop making the 60GB model? I mean the 40GB one can't play PS2 games which is annoying, but I'm glad that it at least has wireless.
