Nice screenshots, some new ones we haven't seen before. The last guy could be a Rastafarian looking at his belt but who knows? We'll have to wait to find out but still a nice little preview of GTA IV in screenshots.

Yeah it's not like on an average day people are just up on a skyscraper roof for no reason. Standing right there, just waiting to get thrown off. R* will make up a logical reason though. I hope.

Yeah since we know nothing really about how good the game is on either console I think it's just a subjective topic. Just people guessing, fan-boying and questioning the topic's purpose. Most people are guessing or fan-boying PS3 ATM though. We can't really tell though, and no one will ever be really right, it'll just be their opinion. Unless something is dramatically better on some console such as graphics, gameplay (which wouldn't be) or any other determining factors about how good a game is.

Has Assassin's Creed come out yet? That game looked good, I'll just go on Wikipedia again. On topic, I rented this game like a year and a half ago and beat it and it was pretty good. You're right Blackadder it's not really fun to play it over again, it should have been longer though. Very nice review man, sounds like a gaming mag review. Maybe you should work at one? Like Jared said: we need to do this more often, we'd have personal reviews for others to look at.

Like Nate, I've barely gotten into fights (just a couple of times) I used to take like Tae Kwon Do if that's how you spell it and Karate when I was in like grade 3 or 4. Didn't get much out of it, and in fights just used my fists. It's hilarious when people who are much weaker than you start dissing you and stuff and try to punch you but fail miserably. Happened in grade 6 when this kid was like dissing me, mom and then just came running at me. Tried to punch me but I felt nothing, so I just took him down and punched him until he swore to piss off. Then when I was walking home I saw him running home crying XD Had a couple of other experiences but not much. Maybe I'll start doing the 10 push ups per post too. Like now. Edit: I also used to do sit ups everyday and had a bit of abs but got lazy and lost it now But now I'm not gonna be lazy and get it back!

Yeah my school has something similar, no more junk food in the vending machines or cafeteria. Only the school made stuff which isn't really healthy but still pretty good. We can bring fast food to our school though, wouldn't phase me much if it was since I don't bring fast food into the school anyway. Sucks to be in your school a bit. They should allow Subways though, it's not fast food...

No problem, but I doubt that's the problem. Has the game always been slow or just after you downloaded mods onto it? If always then I'd guess you're computer doesn't meet the requirements. Damn where are all the computer geniuses when you need them?

Heh, I'm totally broke right now. Just get money every once in a while. Anyways to try out the game on both consoles I'll just get the 360 one and try the PS3 version at some friend's house. I doubt they'll be dramatically different but they'll probably be some minor differences.

Oh yeah I think I might of heard a bit about using those things in Condemned. Can't really think of other new weapons that would be cool in GTA IV, except going Half-Life style with a crowbar since the gravity gun would never work out (too unrealistic) but I can dream.

Plus the stuff is saved on your Xbox or PS3 account anyways. Wow I just realized I am really gonna need to save up for this fall because after I get a 360 I'm obviously getting GTA IV and Halo 3, special editions of both. The IV one will probably cost around $120 here (in Canada) after taxes and the Halo 3 "Legendary Edition" (there's one more before this one but doesn't have as much stuff) which costs $129.99 in the states so in Canada it would end up around $170-180 which would end up costing around $300! Wow, I could buy a Wii with that money. I wonder where I'll get $300 from, probably birthday money over the summer *hint hint*. Jokes

Yeah my bad, the making a hole in the head part was kinda stupid. But yeah I just wanna be able to use the environment as weapons or distractions or whatever.

Not guys with guns (unless you would want to get yourself killed), just average peds. Or if you were on a mission you could use it to throw in a spot where you want the bad guys to go so you could distract them. I wouldn't use a rock over a gun to kill someone.

Well that's just a glitch then. I don't know if it would help but do you have a console or PC version cause if you got a PC version maybe you downloaded some kind of mod that messed the game up. Or if you have cheats on that could mess up the game as well. Can't think of anything else, I'd just keep trying, maybe it'll work one day.

Well it could be because of that or you might just have a shitty computer like me. Your memory might be filled a bit so check that. But I'll let the computer guys handle it now.

Yeah no extra stuff in the game but a lot of (nice) extra physical stuff. I'm definitely gonna get the Special Edition of this when it comes out. @Nate: Yeah OGTAM kinda answered it already. Since the game is still the same, the memory and saved file will be the same too so yeah you'll still have all of your precious exclusive content don't worry.

Yeah I tried using an (the same one) internet translator for a French class assignment and didn't do good. Lol. So don't use them, they suck most of the time. About the file folder thingy, you could make a shortcut of the folder you want to put the files in on your desktop and just drag them into there but I think everyone else's way is better.

Yeah some die-hard GTA fans would get both consoles just for the exclusive content but I wouldn't. Don't have that much money anyways I think it'd be interesting to go to a friend's house who has the other console version and you could play with/use the exclusive content. Just to make things a bit fun. I'll be getting a 360 around the summer time just in time for GTA IV and Halo 3 and if I do end up getting another next-gen console I'd probably get a Wii just for the fact that it's something completely new and fun (plus not as expensive) while PS3 and the 360 have generally similar games. Die-hard fanboys of each console please don't criticize me about saying the PS3's and 360's games are generally (not all) the same.

That would be pretty great, just to stab your way through a crowd. I hope a lot of the environment could be used as weapons too such a branches or rocks found on the ground (sort of like Splinter Cell) and you could throw them to distract people. Or smoke someone in the head just to bug the crap out of them and possibly open a hole in their head.

Try not to post on old topics such as this month old one. But it's kinda good you brought it back, I never saw it. I can't wait for the cellphone in GTA IV, it sounds so interactive and fun to use. Text messages could be good where you would have preset ones like "I need back up, help now!" to gang members and all you would have to do is select it and send it. Phoning civil services would be awesome too, you could get help by ambulances, rides by taxi cabs, pizza by the delivery guy, etc. The camera on the phone also sounds great because you'll have it with you all the time and taking pictures and possibly videos would be awesome. Because you could look/watch them again and show them off on XBL or the PS3 internet thingy.

Who said that? Did I? BTW I agree it is sick but it is realistic and it's called cannibalism. Although I'm pretty sure R* would make Niko a cannibal but they have done it before (Donald Love) so who knows?

That would be awesome! I could have fun doing that all day too. Still not sure, I know for a fact that people go up to the top the Empire State building but when I saw it on Mythbusters they had a protective cage so no one would fall off (DUH! lol) but R* will find out a way. There could be/most likely will be a mission where you are on top of a roof of a skyscraper with bad guys to and you would simple throw them off one by one. But outside missions, I don't know why peds would be up on top of scyscrapers in the first place. P.S. If there will be a lot of enterable buildings similar to the one with the elevator in VC, we could throw business peds through windows too! That'll make it a bit more dramatic, cool and fun as well. What do you guys think?

Yeah they moved a bit away from the with Empire Building in VCS but I think/hope that in GTA IV they create a whole new system. Of course there will be gangs but R* hasn't revealed how you'll be able to interact with them. Like the others, I can't really understand what you're saying at the rest of the post.

Heh, at the rate we're going at, we'll be at GTA OV in no time! So TVG got banned or just left? Whatever, doesn't matter that much anyways. Well when I was in the "throwing people of skyscrapers" topic I kind of suggested the idea of being able to save the replays. So when you do something awesome in single player or online you can save it to rub in your friends faces or just show off. Got the idea from Halo 3 and Madden. Something else I came up with in the GTA IV News Section with the info from Play magazine about sending text messages and not only receiving them. I know it would be really annoying and time consuming to actually type all of them up so I thought about having preset messages like: calling your gang members to help you out "I need back up, come help!" or "The cops are on my tail, help me lose them." (where they would take a car and lead the cops away evading you one star. And some other ones with all you have to do is select one and press send. Just a couple of ideas I think would make the game really cool.

Thanks I guess I played too much Halo 3 (Beta) in the past couple of days and just kept on seeing the "Save Film" feature and being amazing at Madden and saving replays helps too! Hope you can do it both single player and online. About the actual throwing people off part, I hope you can make a pile of dead bodies if you throw a bunch in the same place. That'd make an awesome picture to show everyone
