Yeah .50 cals are kick ass! I saw them use it on Mythbusters (ironically on Discovery as well) and it is also in Smokin' Aces when the girl blew the shit out of a couple of guys. If R* does end up incorporating it into GTA IV, you would only be able to shoot stationary because that thing carries A LOT of power. If someone tried shooting it standing up, they would probably be blown back. But yeah it would be very entertaining seeing people getting killed by it. Woah, the Corner Shot looks amazing. Very smart and would give you a huge advantage over a large group of enemies in GTA. Being able to shoot and kill enemies from a corner without revealing yourself would be awesome. Hope this is in GTA IV as well. Discovery has a knack for awesome guns don't they?

Hah, that was kind of random about Doom but yeah the last boss was a pain in the ass. Peds are a easy to kill, that's why us GTA players kill millions a day.

Well if you don't like it, you don't have to play it. Just forget about it. I personally, enjoyed the game and was pretty good for PSP. Yeah I remember the news post you made Chris that said R* isn't planning on making SAS but focusing on GTA IV. I guess that's good because it means GTA IV will be much better but I hope one day (when they have "free time") R* will make an SAS just to finish off teh GTA 3 triliogy.

Well I just gave an idea about preset messages that are already there for you and all you have to do is select them from your phone and they would be sent. Here is the post if you actually read it Yeah Nate I can sort of see where you're coming from about being worried about the game but I agree that R* wouldn't let us down on something this big as I said earlier. Can't wait to play the good old but at the same time new GTA.

Yeah the next-gen era has barely started. Maybe with the 360 a bit but PS3 was released just a while ago so it hasn't shown its "true colours" yet. We'll just have to wait and see if it lives up to it's name.

Well of course they would, wouldn't you? But if you catch them by surprise (stealth) I'm guessing them or beat them down a bit, I bet it will be much eaiser to just throw them off. It's the same thing with every way you attack peds, they try to defend themselves but you end up kicking there ass anyway. Unless you suck.

Yeah since it was the beta, I guess Bungie was focussing more on the gameplay and not the graphics. They'll polish them up for the final release and the gameplay will be tweaked a bit also but not a dramatic change from the beta. Everything seems nice ATM though, might go play later on today.

Yeah I can see how we would overload if we hosted stunting videos. Although I don't use the mods since I don't have any GTAs on my PC, the whole overhaul sounds awesome. A lot more features than before and gives more details to the gamers. I think it will help a lot in the forums, maybe I'll get GTAs for PC so I can use them.

Yeah I played it for about two hours today at my friend's friend's house. It was pretty addicting, I like some of the new weapons and stuff. A couple of new game modes as well. The equipment is pretty useful once you get the hang of it. Graphics aren't that great but I think Bungie was focussing more on the gameplay this time. Overall it is awesome and addicting to play, it needs some polishing and in a couple of months it will be a hell of fun! Edit: Could ask me about it, I'll try to answer as best as I can. I think I'm gonna go play a bit more tomorrow too so I could look some more.

Yeah I saw that it said you can receive text messages. But if you could send them, that's what I would want. I don't think these new features are too much, it's just because we're moving onto next-gen and just improvements. I'm sure R* would mess up something as huge as GTA IV. We'll see in a couple of months.

I guess I agree with you Nate on Cobain but not really sure. I personally think he was an awesome singer but I don't pay that much attention to singing. Anthony Kiedis, Ozzy Osbourne, Jimmy Page and a lot of other rock and roll lead singers. You can see that in my userbars.

There is definitely going to be a 4th movie. There are 3 more slated Spidey flicks so you have nothing to worry about.

Well both PS3 and Xbox 360 have online capabilities so I'm almost 100% sure both of them. The idea of text message s is great and an idea for sending them could be having preset messages like: "I need back up, come now!" (to gang members) or something else. I think this would make the game much more interactable. The camera on the cell sounds nice since we won't have to look for a camera anymore but have it all the time on the phone now. Everything else is old info but still great.

Heh, when I saw that you (Nate) posted last in this topic I had a feeling you were gonna say Kurt Cobain since I know you're a big Nirvana fan. I agree he's a great singer and could be my fave singer too. His voice was really unique and had this edge to it which made the songs that much better. And I think you were talking about Jared and not Jace seeing since he hasn't posted here.
