  1. I don't know... Brotherhood was cool, but apart from the multiplayer which was epic, it kinda did everything Assassins Creed 2 did only just a little bit worse... the story was random, and twice as short as Assassins Creed 2's... And taking all my stuff at the beginning of the game was a kick in the balls only previously delivered by Scarface: The World is Yours. Oh and the Assassins were awesome, and thanks to the game's lack of difficulty (which is also fine by me, never found a point in difficult games) you don't have to babysit them (although one assassin did die once cause he got stuck on a staircase while attacking a Borgia tower).
  2. I never said it doesn't... forget it. Yeah you're totally right, Alan Wake pwns. Best fucking game since Pong itself. Happy? Piece of shit EcksBawks exclusive Anehway. I'm surprised, actually more like disappointed, that no-one seems to care that GTA isn't even in Top 10...
  3. Nope, it's still up, slightly lower discount (67%) but still a good deal.
  4. Considering that their opinions influence the gaming industry, no, they shouldn't. If it was after IGN all the games would be Mass Effect, Call of Duty and H... H... Halo. @Alan Wake Yeah, pointing my flashlight on everything and watching the scenery fall apart in a cinematic way, definitely a game. I agree with their best modern game (finished it 21 times, now going for the 22nd ) but I don't agree with their reason...
  5. Lol maybe not everyone has a good enough PC to run Crysis 2 but this doesn't look like a resource whore Not my kind of game anyway, but seems to run just fine.
  6. I remember than when I posted that message in chat there were 19.5 hours left, so yeah...
  7. And how poorly it would run... Why remake? Why not Vice City 2?
  8. Well over here: PlayStation 3: 500$ Xbox 360: 550$ yes Xboxes are more expensive than PS3's here, + xLive shit. Pee... I mean Wii: 450$ PlayStation 2: 136$ PC prices vary from a crappy 500$ PC to a really good one for the same price, just don't be surprized if the 2nd one blows up in your face. A Blu-Ray disc: Impossible to find here, I didn't even think you could actually find Blu-Ray blanks anywhere... A DVD disc: Under 1$ Old games: Not less than 10$ New games: 60$ - 70$ Cheap right? If I lived in the US maybe, cause these prices are f*cking killer here. As for pirated crap, there's really nothing worth paying over 20$ for anymore, so let there be torrents. EDIT: Internet, phone and cable are pretty cheap here, I pay about 150$ a year for 120 MB/s + phone + cable.
  9. I don't know what more they can improve... I mean does this tool do anything other than importing / exporting and creating IMG files for IV? What IV needs is a tool like GGMM only more advanced, something that lets you mod every file associated with a certain vehicle, cause finding and modding every single one is a pain...
  10. You'd buy pirated games? O.o Oh and you don't need a credit card to buy from Steam.
  11. You already made a topic like this. http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/topic/26715-gta-vcs-psp-emulator/page__pid__381894#entry381894
  12. http://www.ign.com/top/modern-games/100 Apart from the fact that most of these games I've never even heard of, I fail to understand how RDR is better than GTA IV, how Half-Life 2 Episode 2 is mentioned and Half-Life 2 isn't, or how games like Alan Wake or Heavy Rain appear here when they aren't even f*cking games! These games were clearly picked based on one criteria: IGN's fanboysm. Everybody knows they get an orgasm each time they hear ''Mass Effect''. Oh well, at least they forgot Halo.
  13. Don't know why anybody would buy all of Rockstar's crap for 29$ but GTA Classics for 8$ seems like a good deal...
  14. lol why wouldn't any PC be able to run it... problem is I don't know if I'd be able to see anything on my 1024 x 768 monitor.
  15. IGN Daily Fix usually gets the news late too. And I'm not mad, I'm pissed.
  16. This rumor or whatever you wanna call it came out a few months ago, already was on IGN, GameTrailers etc... a few months ago. I doubt anybody here missed it. Miles do me a favor and hang yourself? Thanks.
  17. Yeah I guess I didn't look much into it ether, this really came as a shock.
  18. LA Noire for PC was confirmed a few days ago, there just wasn't much hype about it apparently.
  19. LA Noire for PC? Well wadda' ya know. I hope it's a better port than GTA IV, meanwile I'll be re-playing Mafia II... for the 9th time. And I still want Red Dead Redemption damn it. Anyway about that site... I'm not sure I understand what you mean, classic GTA's are already on console and PC. Thanks for the news, looks like IGN fell asleep.
  20. Word of caution to this: due to IV modding being so popular and due to the lack of a decent anti-cheat system, IV's multiplayer (mainly Freemode, but also the others) is full of cheaters.
  21. Give it some time, most people probably don't bother with modding old GTA's anymore. I personally still play all of them but that's just nostalgia kicking in, usually after finishing them 100% I'm done, so there's no reason for installing mods.. Try IV modding? It can be a lot more complicated at times but when you get the hang of it you'll notice it's pretty much the same thing as the old GTA's.
