YAY Obama won! I believe he will bring change for the good.

If a women is getting abused and kills her husband she is likely to go to prison for life compared to a man who is abusing his wife and kills her. The courts are usually tougher on the women as they say its planned as a women couldn't possibly do it another way. Yet the abuser will get a much shorter sentence as it will be down as manslaughter as it wasnt premediated. Never mind all the abuse he subjected the women to. So no women don't get an easier time in the law when it comes to abuse. Why should men get paid more in certain jobs though? Whats the reasoning behind that? Is it to say that men should get paid more in the construction industry, yet women should get paid more in, oh I don't know? Whats very stereotypical? How about childcare? Everyone should get paid the same regardless of gender or race etc.

I just honestly can't stand Palin and McCain, I have supported the democrats for a while. My first year of voting though so thats good. I have my postal vote all sorted so I can vote. I just honestly can't see how McCain will help the US. Its my opinion thats all. What worries me is that if Obama does get in is that he will be assinated by Neo Nazi white supremists.

Its not totally equal, in some cases companies won't hire women because they may go on maternity leave one day in maybe ten years time. I studied this in Sociology. Its hard to prove but it does happen. Everything should be totally equal. What annoys me though is how women are changing, there was a poll which showed 1/3 of all teenage girls look up to Jordan and want to be a glmaour model. They don't care about getting the best education and aiming high, this 1/3 just want the celebrity life style with no effort. It angers me as many women gave their lives for womens rights and for the vote.

I dont celebrate it anymore. I am a bit mean to the people that come to the door. If they have a good costume and are nice then I will give them stuff. If they are little shits who just put on a scream mask and a hoody they get peas or apples.

Same as alcohol. Thats very unhealthy but its still sold. No one is going to lead to the perfect healthy life, you will probably have atleast one vice.

To be honest I think its all about life choices. Who are we to judge if someone smokes, if you don't smoke well done but do you need to be judgmental to those who do. I found it sad that adoption services are trying to ban people who smoke from fostering children. You can have people who will abuse that child but they slip into the fostering network, but may seem perfect on paper: non smokers and non drinkers living in a lovely home. Smokers face alot of judgment from what they do, I can not see why? Isn't up to them what they do with their bodies. I wonder what happened to freedom to be honest. In England it seems as if our freedom is counting for less and less each day. if you do not smoke well done but why not leave smokers alone.

I smoke ten a day and have been smoking for a year and a half now. I didn't start because of peer pressure, if I listened to peer pressure I would be pregnant and taking coke. My friend gave me a ciggy and I liked the taste. I stopped for ages then I started again because I was getting very stressed out and it made me feel better, but again I liked the taste of it. No peer pressure, I started smoking myself and no one is to blame but me.

There are legitimate medical benefits. My grandmother fought MS for 20 years & sometimes the only way she got through it was from the relief from a joint. No, legalize it & subject it to regulation & taxes. Make money off it instead of wasting money fighting it & making criminals rich in the process. The only difference between weed & alcohol is alcohol tends to make people get a little violent & it's legal. I agree completly. In the UK they want to bring back to a Class B drug from a Class C, which will just make people confused. I think if its regulated then it will be OK as its no worse than tobacco and alcohol. Cannabis can be used for quite a few medical conditions, if it helps those people then it should be legalized. I still think Class A drugs should stay illegal. I can't get my head round how someone would want to take a horse tranquilizer. The reply I usually get when I ask is: "Its really funny" All I can say is well done.

I like the good old street. You can't beat an hawaiin shirt in a tropical place.

I refused to see it as Evy was played by someone new. I still think they should have kept it at just the two. I find great films get ruined by rubbish sequels espically when the producers just dont know when to stop.

Thats what I would say when people say to me "Oh you smoke, thats bad. Your will die because of it!" I just ask them how much alcohol they drink, (They seem to get pissed all the time to the point of being sick). I tell them then they will die of liver damage. It just annoys me.

I can speak English fluently. I can read French very well but have trouble speaking it. I could read a passage and translate it but I couldn't read it out in French without struggling. I did convince a few people I could speak fluent French though. I do plan to learn it fluently though. I have a FLAW (Foreign Languages At Work) in Spanish too.

I'm terrified of huge crowds of people and cramped conditions. I sometimes have panic attacks which then lead on to asthma attacks, or the other way round. I don't know if that would defined as an anxiety problem though.

Im bored of the whole "American's are stupid" thing. Some guy told me I was stupid for being American, he was an unemployed loser who never wanted a job. I shut him up by telling him my cousins who are American have three degrees between them. My aunt and uncle are teachers and they are American. Yet on the British side Im the first to ever do a degree.

I like the taste of smoke, when I had my first puff I liked it. I didnt become addicted within one puff, I would say I am now though.

Herion/Opium is made from poppies, shame really I love those flowers. If booze became illegal it would be bound to be an A Class drug because of the horrible side effects. Maybe weed should be legalized but not just handed out on a silver platter. It should be regulated but also stop all the rubbish like bleach and hairspray put into it. No other drug should be legalized to be honest, my personal opinion. I have done weed, no effect on me for some reason so I wouldn't bother again. Sadly drugs being illegal never stop people, most of my friends do hard drugs and the lengths they go to are just disgusting.
