Most probably you didnt Rebuild Archive while using the IMG Tool.

I dont understand why did you change the perfomance settings? What was the error about?

Add any other car? Or any particular. I dont remember much but probably some mods require different set of Wheels or other stuff.Conflicting wih the ones already installed.

The Best way is re-installing the game.Remember to keep a back-up next time.
