Most real ghost "hunters" (ie researchers) are skeptical of orbs. Rest of article Here Original Orb Article But when you go to the site I listed, look at the picture section. Well hell Click Here (some of the pics don't show much FYI) But I cannot fathom how some pics will show hundreds of "orbs" in a grave yard, in the middle of the night, and it's all dust particles. I'm sure a lot of them are, but who really knows. (FYI I'm planning on going on another ghost tour in Gettysburg in the coming weeks. I'll post more pics if I get any good ones. I've got more orb pictures, but didn't post them because it was like one orb. I have one pic of a blue "orb" and the story of that building was a small boy freezing to death (turning blue). So that was freaky. I'm sure other people have stories, expierences they would like to share. Please don't be shy. Even skpetics can enjoy this stuff.

Oh I know orbs aren't an exact thing. Could be something, could be nothing. The 4th pic has a white ring in part of the photo, which doesn't look like flash to me. And I agree about the third pic. It creeps me out how close I got to that house. I don't think a white puff in the middle of a quiet campus is dust, but it could be.

Alright here are three of my favorite pictures. I took these both, and they are not doctored in any way shape or form. Look to the far right. See the puffy cloud? This was taken at approx. 10 PM on the campus of Gettysburg College. I turned around and snapped a picture hoping to get something. This one is hard to explain. There are "orbs" (which no one knows what they are. Could be "ghosts" could be dust. But there was no wind, and it was dark. you should be able to see the orbs. This is a close up of the house in the last picture. You can again see things around, and also see stuff like faces in the windows. Now that house we were told has a lot of paranormal activity. Take that for what you will. I've got some other "orb" pictures, and one where you can see something in a window of a barn. What the hell. Here's the barn picture. Most people I show these too say they can see what I see. Others tell me they see nothing. So who knows really. I don't know if the other people aren't looking hard enough, if they are lying so they don't have to see it. But whatever. Have a gander.

The show on Sci-Fi "Ghost Hunters" does. Though why are videos so much better than still photos? Both can be manipulated.

Well as I said in the death thread, ghosts are quite interesting to me. I think there are ghosts of the dead, and there are demons (from Hell). I've gone on a couple "Ghost Walks" in Gettysburg, PA.Info Here Which is called the most haunted place in America. (Civil War battle for all you non US folk) Click Here for info Anyway, I got some pics on this walk, which I will post later on (I'm at work, they're at home). And besides that, you could feel something around some of these haunted places. My cousin swore she saw my Grandfather after he died, and my Grandmother claimed that he came and ate dinner with her every night. Now I will not say these to be true, since they never happened to me. I'm a believer, but I don't want to ever see a ghost if that makes sense. Now I know a lot of you are going to point out my denial of aliens, FreeMasons impact, etc. And that's fine. Even I cannot explain my fascination with ghosts, never really having an expierence. But it's something I've always been fascinated with. And I don't mind people not believing in them.

I was wondering if it was the "lost levels" game. I know I've played that level before, but I couldn't tell you which game it was.

Conventional wisdom is that the person has "unfinished busines" on earth and so their souls are not prepared to cross over into the afterlife. (We should probably make a whole new topic on ghosts). The Catholic Church teaches you (at least what I was thought in Sunday School) that ghosts are tools of the devil. I don't believe this personally. Oddly enough, for all the things I don't believe in, I do in ghosts. Never seen one, but I've got some pictures (which I would be glad to share if anyone wants to see them), and I've had some strange things happen personally. Really? So an answer of "I don't know" or "That's a dumb question" or "why do you keep asking that" is an ANSWER? Where did you go to school, because everyone must get straight A's for those answers. Um no, no its not. You can see things underwater, and you can swim, scuba dive whatever. All I said was how can they get here? These other galaxies are like millions of light years away from us. So unless they are travelling at the speed of light I don't see how they can travel here. And as I said before if they are coming here constantly why don't they ever show up in Times Square on New Years Eve? Why do they show up in bum f***?

I think there's a possibility, but not a probability. If we can't travel to other galaxies how can they? Granted they may have better technology than us, but I don't think it's probability.

Something similar happened when I was in highschool. There were rumors floating around (and keep in mind this was only a few months after the Columbine incident) that there was going to be a shooting at my school. It even made the news. My mother (who wouldn't let us take the day off when my grandfather died) asked me if I wanted to stay home. I told her hell no. My school is huge, so the odds are against them finding me, I think it's bunk, and besides that they better hope they kill me on the first shot. Nothing happened. Half the school didn't show.

Saw the first two, and I'm going to see this one too. My wife loves the movies. Which is funny because she didn't want to see the first one.

How would I know? I'll be dead. While I believe in the after life, if there is a Heaven I'm sure I'll miss them, and of course I miss those who have died, but I don't fear the missing them. I enjoy life to it's fullest and enjoy my time with other people and try not to hold grudes against anyone who I am close to. That way when they or I die I know it won't be without regrets.

Uh, no try a few months ago. Google a story about a nun who was cured of Parkinsons after praying to Pope John Paul II. Or any number of the miracles a dead person has to do to become a Catholic Saint. And if there were miracles 1700 years ago by your calculations then wouldn't that mean that there was an afterlife then?

Not really no. Death is inevitable, so why fear it? No one knows what happens after death so that's scary to think about, but why think about it? I'm a healthy young person, why should I worry about death? If I die tommorow I'll be dead so what could I have done about it?

I believe in Heaven and Hell. I just don't think this is all. Maybe I'm wrong, frankly I'll never find out till I'm dead. But I have had expierences that have made be a beilever, and I think all of the miracles and the like out there are too numerous to just pass off.

So they have the technology to travel to other planets and galaxies but they cannot grasp sustaining life?

I think there are other planets that are inhabited. It would be foolish and ignorant to think otherwise. There are billions of galaxies and stars out there, but only one has life? Please. Do I think they frequently visit this planet? No. Mainly because how do they have the technology we don't (I know that sounds stupid, but really...) and why would they come here to research us and not land and have a chat? Why are they scooping up rednecks and probing them and bringing them back? I think when people see these things it could very well be a new experimental air craft that the Air Force, NASA, Navy, whomever is out testing. It could be an Ultralight aircraft that some moron thinks is a space ship.
