  1. So you solve a generalization about women with one about men? Men don't want to talk about marriage and kids until they are ready for such things and with someone they want to have that with. So men might change the subject to "less mature" because they are uncomfortable talking about kids with some girl they just started dating. And there are plenty of mature men out there you just have to find them. Just like there are girls who only want to talk about celebrities and fashion well into their 30's, and others who would rather debate politics in their teens.
  2. Done it, could do it again. It's all about will power
  3. Folks, condoms work, but not all the time. You want to have sex? Do some research on contraceptives. Talk to your doctor (who by law cannot talk to your parents in most places), talk to the pharmacist. If you are 15 and she's 15 make sure you check the age of consent laws. What if her parents catch you at it and then throw you in jail for statutory rape? I waited till I was 18 and put of high school before I had sex, and it was with someone I had been with for over a year and a half (and we are now married and together 7 years). Sex is not a bad thing, and I'm not saying you have to wait till you're married, but learn how to protect yourself and her or you'll regret it. And as far as "fucking the shit" out of some girl you supposedly care about, why would you do that? Your first time (if it's with someone you care about) shouldn't be "hurry and and come so we can see what all the fuss is about" )If that's all you care about try mutual masturbation.) It should be special, with someone you care about.
  4. Which is my point. I love to point out to people who scream about someone's religion in gov't that it shouldn't matter. I don't understand why it does matter. Who you worship has no bearing on how you run the country. I mean, George W has been quoted as saying God told him to do this and that, and look how bad George W has fucked things up.
  5. Yes that must be true. He wants so bad to "prove" he isn't a Muslim that he will write a book about it, and edit his Wiki page. And fool Snopes. If you are honestly that dumb, please don't register to vote. Because we all know that people running for President would want to lie to EVERYONE. Because that would never come out and ruin them. Moreover, if he's been baptized Christian, he's Christian now, and isn't that all that matters? That's what gets me. I have never understood why belief in Jesus is paramount to running the country. Because, again, last I checked, this is not a theocracy, and we have that handy little "Separation of Church & State"
  6. That's from Wikipedia http://snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp And there's a link from Snopes denouncing the whole thing. Sounds like he was raised by atheists and then became Christian. [sarcasm] which automatically disqualifies him to be President, in a country founded on "Separation of Church & State" by quite a few atheists. And that GWB is labeled a Born Again Christian who wasted years drinking and doing drugs makes him a great man. [/sarcasm] As far as the school thing, Wikipedia said that he went to local schools. I doubt they were "Muslim Schools". People really should look these things up before they just hit forward. I also find it sad that the NRA, a national, respected (in some circles, including my own) organization is allowing it's members to spread crap.
  7. Uh, you don't have time for missions, but you have 8-10 hours a day to just drive around in a video game? Dude, for your sake, go outside and do something. Hit the gym, get a job. If you are wasting 8-10 hours a day that's not good.
  8. I work as a drafter/engineer/project manager for a concrete company. I make $18 per hour, and I work 40 hours a week. I like the work, but I'm sick of the people I work for, and some of the idiots who we do work with.
  9. Mustard! (Isn't salt more a spice?)
  10. I happened to think of one. My wife dying before me. At least dying very young anyway. I couldn't handle that.
  11. Holy thread bump batman (Christ I'm showing my age, at least I'm not as old as Urban ). BTW FDR & TR own all presidents of the 20th Century. Hell they are the best ever other than Washington & Lincoln. Anyway, like fatalgamer there isn't really anything I'm afraid of. Pain is temporary, the unknown is freighting to think about, but not enough to be "afraid" of. Death is scary to think about, but it's inevitable. Why fear it? Live your life with no regrets and you have nothing to fear. And once you're dead, who gives a shit, you're dead... It's like war, etc. If it kills me, I'm dead, so I don't care anymore. Now, that said, being lost freaks me out, but I've learned to pay better attention to where I am, and signs around so I have a better idea as to how to get places. I agree with FDR, the only thing to fear is fear itself.
  12. All the branches of my family tree have been American for at least 4-5 generations (my great-great grandparents). But... Dad's Dad - English & German (Great-Great Grandfather came to US, had English & German parents, took his mother's surname, so I have a German last name, which pisses people off when I refuse to answer to the Americanized version) Dad's Mom - German Mom's Dad - Irish Mom's Mom - I'm pretty sure English here too. But they have been in the US since long before the Civil War. I'll have to ask her about it today. I haven't called her in a while anyway. So I call myself American since it's been such a long time since anyone has lived elsewhere. My wife on the other hand... Her grandmother was the first in her family born in the US. Her grandmother is the youngest, and all of her sisters were born in Sicily. She still speaks Italian fluently, and speaks it when talking to her sisters on the phone. (I love going over there for food). The rest of her family is like mine. Some English, German, & Irish thrown in, but at least 4 generations back.
  13. The Ford Mustang had the same frame from 1979-2004. It looked basically the same from 79-93 and then 94-04. The Dodge Neons looked the same for it's entire run, and the VW Bug.
  14. All of the Geico commercials. Cavemen, Lizard, etc. SHUT THE FUCK UP I don't care how much money they can save me on car insurance, I'll never go with them for car insurance.
  15. I lean liberal (Democrat in the states) on most issues, so I'm a registered Dem. But I vote for whoever is the best candidate instead of party lines.
  16. Nate, if she's actually being abused then you need to tell your parents about it, or some of your teachers so they can get her the help she needs. And if she is being abused (and since he comes to you and says stop calling her) you should probably stop calling her. You don't want her getting beat because she still talks to you, nor do you want to have some psycho who has no problems beating a little girl coming after you. Seriously though, talk to some adults and get her some help if she's being abused.
  17. I like Pepsi, most Pepsi products by the way. Also, Dr. Pepper is neither a Coke or Pepsi product. They are an independent cola company that is distributed by any company that will distribute them. For example in my area Dr Pepper is in with Coke, but in other areas it's with Pepsi.
  18. I'll try IE to see if it helps any, but I clear my cookies once a week or so.
  19. Lately posts I've read won't show up that I have read them. There are threads where the last post was yesterday, that I have read all the way through, but it will show up as new every time I log back in. Even if I hit "mark all posts as read" before I leave.
  20. How old are you and how old is the girl? If her parents are grounding her for "going out" with a guy, and I assume it's maily talking on the phone, holding hands in school, kissing, etc. not actually going out on dates, then she must not be very mature, or they are very overprotective. In any case, you can either let it go, wait for her, or try and arrange a meeting with her parents. If they see you are nice guy with good intentions (ie not "I'm gonna fuck her brains out whenever i get the chance") then maybe that'll get somewhere. But you need to call and talk to her parents yourself, not through her, and not just show up at her house.
  21. It's a good idea, but my only question is how will you drive or steal cars in a prison? Or listen to the radio except when chilling in your cell? Will he have head phones all the time? All in all it sounds like a cool game though. I'd like to see a game set in Vice City 10-20 years later, to see what Tommy has been up to. It's ties to GTA III were how Tommy made the Forrelli family so weak by the time it came to 2001, but it had it's own story line that I would love to see how things worked. You know Tommy is still around in 1992 when Ken calls him.
  22. Good luck K9, I hope it turns out as you both want.
  23. That is good yes, but it doesn't mean she's not pregnant (most likely it does though). Often times in younger women when they are pregnant they will get bloody discharge that to them looks like a period, but has more to do with the pregnancy. She's probably not at this point, especially if she got her period before she took the negative test. Very true. Many women are convinced they are pregnant who haven't had sex since their last period. (Or at all, that was a girl I worked with when I was 14, swore she was pregnant, and a virgin). And if she's been freaking out since you had unprotected sex that she's pregnant she may have convinced herself of it. Oh and good luck YellowJacket
