Nova66 Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 I just bought the san andreas: collectors edition for PS2 because my other version, being 4 years old is crappin out. i went to load up my old game and it told me it wasnt compatible with the collectors version. so whats the difference between the orginal version and the collectors version? Sherman Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 Yeah, different versions of the game don't work with eachother for whatever reason. As far as I know, there's two versions of SA for ps2. "Hot Coffee" was something implented into the games files which R* scrapped and didn't bother deleting it. When you have a girlfriend and she asks you to come in for some coffee, it went into a scene where cj and his girlfriend were having sex and you had to get the excitement bar up full to provide her with pleasure. Somebody found it and they made a big deal out of it, click here to see for yourself. Version 2 was then made and Hot Coffee was no longer implented into the games files and they fixed up a few bugs, which is probaly why the game wont read your save file because your old game was Version 1.
