Thomas.
automatic Updates do this. It might be a good idea to make a back up of your Bookmarks. You may have to stop Mozilla from doing updates by going into settings in order to prevent it.

NotYouHaha
Thanks, I've disabled Firefox from having automatic updates, but according to my Update History list, it says my last update was on April 17th, 2008, but the bookmarks had been deleted a few days ago, and it's May 26, 2008 today. I don't think that updates to Firefox was the cause. And thanks Deji, for the back-up idea by using Internet Explorer. The only back-up idea I was thinking of was saving my bookmarks in a word document. Edited May 26, 2008 by NotYouHaha
Gerard
You can backup your bookmarks in Firefox by going to Organise Bookmarks then go to File, Export. Then you can put em back by going to Import.
Dark Lord
In Your OS Partition > Program Files > Document And Settings > User Name (Or Administrator) > Application Data > Mozzila > Firefox > xyz.default (folder) > Bookmarksbackup. Usually there is an automation backup of them.Addons and Passwords wont be there though. This is usually caused by some unsigned Addons.Used to happen to me a lot before. The Bossman
I think with the newest Firefox, number 3, it has some sort of back-up system so you should never lose another bookmark again. It's still in the BETA stages though. Just follow the advice given and you'll have no problems.
