Rumours have been Billie Piper, James Nesbitt and John Simms. Who would you like to replace Tennant? GTA Don Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 I agree with you. I only started watching Dr. Who when Christopher thingy became the Doctor but Tennant has been doing a great job. Sad that he's leaving the show though. I don't like James Nesbitt too much, would feel weird and everything having him as the Doctor, John Simms is a great actor, did very well in Life on Mars. The writers could easily write in John Simms, but Billie Piper ergh no, I didnt like Rose and I couldn't see how that would work.
