MrLlamaLlama
Call Sony's tech support, if your system is less than something like 18 months old, they'll replace it free of charge. If it's older, I'm not really sure what happens, you either have to pay to get it repaired, or replace it yourself. The tech support line is in the manual / paperwork that comes with the system. Tell them what's going on, and when they ask you if you've dropped or knocked the system, make sure you say 'no', even if you've been using it to bang nails in with... or something. EDIT: UK PlayStation Careline - 08705 99 88 77 (National Rate) 8am – 10pm Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.
Charger
Your PSP is bricked. Same thing happened to me, when I accidentally dropped it. All I could do is turn it on with a black Screen.
