Huckleberry Pie
How do I change my Computer IP?Not the Modem/Router one.. Unless if your ISP uses dynamic addresses, or if you live under a proxy, the thing is that it isn't easy to change your IP. It's the ISP that assigns them to you, and the only one directly assigned to your hardware is your PC's MAC address, which is a permanent serial number of your hardware on a network. Girish
Anyways, you know the little icon down in the tray?Right click, disconnect. And connect again. That only helps if you have a dynamic IP. And just as a side note to Undercover, even dynamic IPs need not necessarily help you evade bans. There are other ways of finding out.
Gerard
Sounds like he wants to change his PC's internal IP (for his local network). Which is easy if he just goes into the TCP/IP settings of his connection and configures them manually, instead of using DHCP.

WRX22B1998
lol well that means something else on your network has the same IP if your gonna set one manually then set them all manually, or give the manual one a high number like 192.168.0.200 or something otherwise you get ip conflicts if one machine is on before the other or whatever.
