zimoo
His Dark Materials is a best selling trilogy by Phillip Pullman and contains Northern Lights, the Subtle Knife and the Amber Spyglass. I haven't seen the play but I don't imagine it'd be that good even though I loved the books, a film would be good but a play would lack in special effects IMO
crazychicken17
Have you ever been to the National Theatre? They have one of the most complex and intricate stage systems ever. I thought the effects and costumes were handled brilliantly, actually. But, if you are a huge fan of the books, or if your web name is solidsnake, you'll be dissapointed by how different from the book the story is. @ solid: I know they cut out Mary Malone. And I don't care. So please stfu about it.
