ricardo_5733
I decided I'm going to get Vice City on PC and I wondered if my Laptop will be able to Play it. I only bought it about six months ago. Its a Dell Inspiron I6400 Genuine Intel ® CPU T2300 @ 1.66GHz and 0.99 GB of RAM. I have Direct X 9. I'm not very clued up on PC gaming so I don't know if you need to know anymore than that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
C.O.D
What about the Video Card? The RAM is good enough, but the CPU speed is gonna chew your head.
Sherman
::Minumum:: # 800 MHz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon # 128 MB of RAM # 8X speed CD/DVD drive # 915 MB of free disk space # (+ 635 MB if video card does NOT support DirectX Texture Compression) # 32 MB video card with DirectX 9.0 compatibile drivers # Sound Card with DirectX 9.0 compatible drivers He's probably got onboard graphics.... but yeah, if you do mind telling us how much those would be? And eh, I think he should be fine on CPU speed, honestly.

I don't know if this is the video card or not. ANy ideas on syspected performance?
Pandora
If you only bought it half a year a go you are sure to be able to run it. Don't think Dell would make any PC that can't run a simple game like Vice so don't whorry. I got a 3 year old PC and it can run most games and Vice City on maximum. Righty
I believe the T2300 is a CoreDuo CPU. I have an Intel T2300 in my laptop and that's a core duo running @ 1.66 GHz ... especially since he has a laptop also. Can you get the videocard make and model? Video cards always seem to be where video games bottleneck.

Pandora
You could go to run and type "dxdiag" and tell us what you get for your graphic card. And like I said, I'm positive it works on a only 6 months old laptop. I mean, look at how old Vice City is :|

Pandora
You got more memory then my graphic card has. And usually cards with more memory are better. So just buy it. It's really going to work. And if it doesn't, I'l eat my shoe. And my shoe stinks, trust me.

Pandora
Sure. If your still a bit uncertain just start with low settings ans if it runs really smooth you can put them higher. High chance you can play it on max settings though. Like me
