  1. Yep, seen and heard about it. I do have the game myself, but I haven't tried the VC map mod yet.
  2. Yeah, that's nice. Since the three games were all Cider ports it would be an easy job for them to port the games, but idk as to how did they manage to solve the mouse problem in the first two III-era games. 'Twas a common issue up to now that some games would end up having mouselook problems when run on Wine or any of its derivatives such as Cider, like the mouse losing focus on the game when you try to pan the cam at 180 or so degrees.
  3. She's the poor servant girl in A Little Princess, although she did have some major roles on her own: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCXQzVDjcgk
  4. It's been a while since I emailed her (and received an unintentional spam letter from the lady herself), and I was a bit shocked to know that one of Shirley Temple's co-stars has just passed away:
  5. Aye, 'tis more like a separate canon, although they do share some in-universe references such as fictional products like Sprunk.
  6. Yep, ditto on that. I do own a similar tool myself.
  7. Yep, have that game. Add me up on your friends list, guys, my id's at huckpie Yep, have that game. Add me up on your friends list, guys, my id's at huckpie
  8. And besides, it ain't worth the effort if you try and mod a console game.
  9. There is a port of the VC map to IV, but they're yet to have a public beta release as of now.
  10. Yep, possibly. .ASI hacks may work (since I tried using the IV HUD mod in SA while running it on a Mac), but some mods that require Windows-specific stuff may not work.
  11. I also had that problem before, but with Mafia II suddenly crawling down to 15-20 fps. Are the video card drivers updated?
  12. And it's a Cider port, not a real native one. Still worth the try, though, and I hope some of them modding peeps would think about porting at least some of their tools to OS X. Sure, it might run on Wine, but a native IMG Tool for Mac would be a great idea.
  13. It is, being that the console has been opened up by hackers lately, but since the file formats on the console versions differ from PC, I'm afraid you'll have to stick to the latter version if you'd like to make the game yours.
  14. Yep, DEP works on my end, especially if you've just updated Windows and/or you have mods present in your game.
  15. You obviously forgot to back up your saves. Unfortunately, yes. Paths are still yet to be laid out, other than the trains. Simply demanding the team to populate the place would be madness.
  16. Sorry for the double-post, but here's my gameplay video:
  17. There's an option for you to keep the IV vehicles afaik.
  18. I might try that one time; the idea of porting SA to RAGE is quite interesting, so why wouldn't I give it a shot?
  19. Actually, it is quite an improvement over the 9400GT, fillrate-wise, but you might consider a 4xx or 5xx series GPU if you fancy those DX11 tesselation things.
  20. Yeah I'm getting 30-40fps on medium-high while running it on 1440x900. Oh, and mine's a GDDR5 flavour, which is a tad better than the DDR3 banana. It should run IV and a couple other games at 30+ frames especially since you have an i5.
  21. It costed about 95 USD when I bought it back in Christmas Eve. From what it seems it is just as powerful as a 9600, but good enough for GTA IV when coupled with a decent CPU.
  22. For an el-cheapo PSU like yours, so far only entry-level to mid-end cards will work, like the GT240.
  23. At the cost of losing multiplayer access, though.
  24. Well, if you have a smallish case, then it is generally unlikely that the 560 will fit. I've seen a 560 on a local computer store before, and it also seems to be a bit on the footlong side of things. As for your power supply, yeah, but there are ones that are branded and yet relatively budget-friendly.
