GTA 3 takes top game of the decade on Yahoo!
Huckleberry Pie replied to Sherman's topic in General GTA Series Chat
It is quite deserving, as GTA 3 did have a big influence when it comes to gaming. -
Sorry, wrong subforum.

blakegriplingph, although I don't use it much.

I managed to run Camhack on 7; it doesn't work natively on Vista or 7 since it is missing the DX8 libraries for Visual Basic aka dx8vb.dll. You may get a copy of the DLL from a DLL download site (be careful with them though, some may be tainted), or better yet, from another PC that has it (usually an XP box). Copy the DLL to your system32 folder, and then run the following: regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\dx8vb.dll It works on mine (Windows 7 RTM build 7600, 32-bit), so I don't see any issues regarding this other than a missing library.

I didn't get much for Christmas, but I don't mind. At least I'm with my family.
-
Have you tried patching it? Mine works well, albeit laggy since I have a crappy rig.

Charlotte Church - Dream a Dream (as in whole album; why does she have to end up as a crazy chick anyways?)

Don't want to spill the beans too early, but here's a screenie with my Sam Fisher ped mod: -

Yep, heard of it, and found the law pretty much out of proportion. I wonder if those Greek bureaucrats sniffed too much camper fuel when they passed that law.

Probably on medium as far as your graphics card is concerned. Your system RAM and CPU is already adequate for the task.

Try rreading this guide, it might help you with making your own cars. Oh, and it is time-consuming especially for beginners.

And that would rid the internet of whiny Hannah Montana fangirls and immature jerks. I feel sorry for Ray, he does contribute positively, only to be let down by what appears to be an apparent case of noobishness.

Yep, you're right. I made that since I have a crapload of shortcuts to tools like 3DS Max, my GTASA map editor, and some cleanup tools for my system.

How to make mods work in GTA SAN ANDREAS for mac
Huckleberry Pie replied to XxDRAYxX's topic in General GTASA Discussion
Are you running it on Cider? It'll be hard, dude, especially if you don't dual-boot with Windows on your Mac. yes, i am using cider, so how do i solve the problem? Can you dual-boot to Windows? Try opening gta3.img in your Cider directory in Windows. Since you're on Cider, it'll be a tad harder to fix since you're running GTA on an unsupported system. -
Still needs tweaking, but it's fine nonetheless.

Ditto on that. They both involve blood and murder, but Saw is a lot more disturbing if you compare it side by side with Manhunt, despite the lack of interactivity. They should ban Saw and similar films too if they want to implement with that kind of logic.

So I've heard that Crytek, the Germany-based game studio behind Far Cry and Crysis, is in a sticky situation as the German ministry proposed a law on banning first-person shooters and similar media on their country. I'm no German, but I feel that this has to be the most insane law I've ever heard since Hitler messed up the country over seventy years ago. I understand their intentions on banning Nazi iconography in their country, as it did offend Holocaust survivors and people, grandparents in particular who've witnessed the dictatorship, but banning games is more of like an act of boasting and an act of showing off that they "care" when they're actually are a corrupt and dishonest bunch of monkeys. And with that logic, you should ban action films and anything else that involves violence, interactive or otherwise, as they too can get in the hands of children. Also, it might force gamers to go underground and torrent or buy games from organised crime groups who are taking advantage of the ban. America tried it once when they banned booze back in the 20s. And yet Al Capone and his gang benefited more from it than the government. Any thoughts on this? Sources: http://kotaku.com/5330374/crytek-threatens-to-leave-germany

Huckleberry Pie you realy should delete the link from there and pm'ed it to us Hey john, instead of quoting all of that, try just quoting what you need, like me Yeah, Huckleberry Pie, take down the link and just PM it to those who you are giving it to. Thanks mate. OK, oh, and call me Huck instead. -
I don't really know much about my heritage, other than the fact that I'm born to Filipino parents. My aunt once said that we were distantly related (on my mother's side to be exact) to a former senator, but other than that, I'm quite clueless at where did I come from.

Uy 'tol, kamusta? Buti napadayo ka dito... Anyway, I might do some work on the GUI and GXTs right now. It's a good thing you still have the other mods intact. I'm still a bit bummed at losing a flash drive.
