Oh, and according to my dad, she'll probably spend six years in jail for vehicular homicide (defined rather vaguely in the Philippines as "reckless imprudence resulting in homicide", which can also stand for other offenses that may not neccesarily involve vehicles), plus a suspended driver's license... Agreed. Almost all things can be used either for good or bad; you can't make something that can completely and perfectly control all of its actions and limit it to just legitimate purposes, it would be like designing a gun that only works in case of legitimate purposes. I do torrent gigabytes of stuff to be honest, and I know what software companies feel, but it's just that them developers are too overzealous in their policies. My dad bought a Nokia 5800 recently, and he told me that we can legally download a bunch of music files from Universal Music, but the fact that they're laced with DRM kept me from participating in the free offer by the company, as I find DRM measures hard to deal and something that bites newcomers...

After all, you drove the vehicle, and you took some innocent kid's life after ramming him, even if you didn't mean to. You should've been defensive on operating a motor vehicle, not just blitz around the street like you would in GTA... Agreed on both of you...

After all, vehicular manslaughter, whether intentional or not, is a serious criminal offense; you're in charge of the vehicle, and even though you hit the gas on impulse, you're still responsible for the safety of you, your passengers, as well as the peds surrounding you. I guess it's about time that stricter driving laws should be implemented; I've heard too much about roadkill and totaled vehicles here in the Philippines...

I vote for Catalina, since she's obviously a hot-headed, quick tempered woman whom you find it hard to mess with...
