The Metro UI, most especially the start screen, was quite awkward to use on a keyboard-and-mouse interface. I can get away with that by using a Start Menu addon, but at least some apps won't work on Windows 8 - on the beta, that is.

Game Informer's World Exclusive GTA V Preview!
Huckleberry Pie replied to Chris's topic in GTA V News
The multiple playable characters concept sounds like a 'swell idea to me. And I like the fact that they went for the parallel storylines direction, just as what American Girl did with Cécile and Marie-Grace. -
And from what it seems, the Cognoscenti might make a return in V.

GTA V Spring 2013 Release Officially Announced

Unless if they delay it, of course. -
I'm fine, just modding and stuff.

GTA V Spring 2013 Release Officially Announced
Huckleberry Pie replied to Chris's topic in GTA V News
But why 360 and PS3? At the time the game will be released newer consoles would've taken over. 'Tis still a 'swell news, though. -
Yeah, it's been a veeeeeeery long time since we last met.

First GTA V Preview from Game Informer Coming Next Month
Huckleberry Pie replied to Chris's topic in GTA V News
It sure as well be a 'swell preview. -
The only demo they released so far was for the first GTA games. From the scope and design of the later titles it would be highly unlikely for R* to do a free demo, let alone a beta which some imbeciles claim to offer.

NOT ABLE TO INSTALL GTA SAN ANDREAS
Huckleberry Pie replied to coolmodi's topic in General GTASA Discussion
And calm down with the CAPS LOCK, it makes it seem like you're being desperate or something. It's either that you have a defective or damaged installer, or you got the game off a torrent site. If the latter's your case, then I'm sorry but we won't provide you with any support as we do not in any way condone piracy here. -
This would've been a lot funnier if you put Roman on it.
-
Yeah, that's the problem - some people are just too gullible.

Chris has already posted a similar notice before, but thanks for letting our fellow users know about these scams.
-
Yeah, same. Haven't heard much from you, Mish. But I'm pretty much a longtime member here.

And that would cause animal rights "watchdogs" to go sour if that was the case.
-
Not unless if you make use of CLEO or any other hacks.

How do I download the mods to my ps3
Huckleberry Pie replied to RonVasquez's topic in GTA IV Discussion + Help
In other words, it's possible, but not worth the crap considering that it's more than worth it to mod the PC version, and due to legal issues concerning modchips and hacked consoles. -
Exactly. Labels are for books and media, not humans.
-
It's been 10 years and people still use that thing. Hence the reason why DX9 renderers are still prevalent in most PC games.
-
Unfortunately, most of my legacy lineup has either been sold or taken care of, so I only have this trusty Core2Duo system.

This. Imo I think they should give Holmes a death sentence. -
Could this Desktop run GTA IV?
Huckleberry Pie replied to orion7198's topic in GTA IV Discussion + Help
On a newer series Nvidia, anything with the second digit that's higher than 4 is a mid-range to high-end card, i.e. GT440 or something like that. And yeah, the GTX designation gives way. -
Could this Desktop run GTA IV?
Huckleberry Pie replied to orion7198's topic in GTA IV Discussion + Help
And go for an Nvidia. A GT240 might do at the very least, but I'd go for a 560Ti or one of them mid-range 600-series cards. -
Why You Shouldn't Believe the Recent GTA V Rumours
Huckleberry Pie replied to Chris's topic in GTA V News
Agreed, as they prefer to spend time perfecting their work rather than annualizing their games just like what Activi$ion does on their Call of Duty IPs. -
There's a tutorial on how to do an ISO mod somewhere, but trust me, it ain't worth the crap as it's a lot easier to do it on the PC version.
