  1. And another thing: Can you at least provide us with your system specs, and as to what did you do before the game crashed?
  2. Same in my case, even the later III-era games seems hard enough for me not to finish.
  3. Seems legit, but I'd go for a desktop instead. Besides, the HD3000 graphics that laptop has doesn't seem to cut it quite a lot.
  4. The 8400 I mentioned is the one you posted earlier, duh. I think you might as well invest in a new rig if you want to run all your new games properly. Making do with your current system won't cut it much if you ask me.
  5. Well, based on your system specs it looks like you seriously need an upgrade, as both your processor and GPU are a tad too weak to run it. I had an 8400GS myself and trust me, with that system there's little more that you can do with it.
  6. Sure, why not? You can send me an invite: www.facebook.com/The.Syndicate15 OK, invite sent.
  7. Yeah, EFLC and the newest IV patches seem to be more of a resource hog than the previous builds. R* should've stayed with the old shadow system and fix the grain with shaders rather than implement something that's going to use too much power.
  8. Yeah, but we need to know what your graphics adapter is. Either download Speccy or press the Start button and key in dxdiag at the search box.
  9. One problem with such mods is that people jump into planning an extravagant and ambitious conversion and then end up doing little to nothing. I suggest that you start small, and then when you're doing good at it work it little by little until you have better progress. Just my two cents.
  10. Oh, cool. Say, uh, mind if you add me on Facebook or something? I actually wanted some file format to be cracked, but that ain't really high-priority.
  11. Ironically, I don't know anything about CLEO. I have it installed on my computer, but no idea what it does. I'm more of a reverse engineering type of guy. If someone wants to convert it to CLEO, that'd be great. I spent the last few days working on a rapid fire too. So I have all the weapons fully rapid. It's neat, I'll post a video soon and maybe someone can convert that one as well. Ohh. I don't know much about coding, but CLEO's actually an extender allowing external SCM scripts to be run without affecting the main game logic. For example you can spawn a car using an external CLEO script instead of messing with main.scm and having to start the game from the top again. As for reverse-engineering things, how skilled are you when it comes to that rather fine art? Do you do file formats as well?
  12. Yeah, but it'll be poor show for anyone to cheat on multiplayer games.
  13. I think you can convert this to CLEO since the latter toolset can accept assembly afaik.
  14. Looks like the Swiss Army Knife for RAGE keeps on getting better and better.
  15. First of all, putting too many smileys on your post won't do any wonders. There's a vehicle conversion tutorial made by Puma on GTAForums - it's for SA but it works for VC as well, albeit with some changes.
  16. That's why I prefer to wait for any official statements from R*.
  17. Try going to your start menu, type dxdiag on the search box, and then press enter. From there you can see what your system has, i.e. RAM, processor speed, etc. Either that or you may also use the free Speccy tool.
  18. From where did you purchase the game? Did you download it off Steam, on a retail store, or got it on a bootleg DVD-R in a flea market? Oh, and what are your system specs, too?
  19. Looks 'swell to me, reminds me of the time when some dude on YouTube recreated the IV debut trailer using only clips he found on YT.
  20. Definitely. I don't see the point about that law either.
  21. Amen on that. Even Microsoft themselves admitted that XP won't be this popular if it wasn't for the warez groups.
  22. Anyone know how to do that Max Payne 3 interlacing effect in Photoshop?
