That looks badass. @Tuna: Sorry if any part of my post lead you to believe I give a shit about what you post around here.

The Constant Gardner. For english class. More like The Constant Piece of Shit, jesus, this thing is awful. Got to get back to my own movie watching schedule instead of whatever I'm doing now.
-
You and Tuner bro. ANd yeah Evo, definetly roam around before making any decision, i completed a couple of factions before I went through with the Stormcloaks.
-
Stormcloaks. I hate the fucking Thalmor.
-
Well yeah beside the lags everything else is beautiful. I really get "lost" inside it.
-
How does that still happen? I mean, Bethesda games are known for being laggy, how the fuck have they not perfected this flaw is beyond me. I only had one nasty lag with it s ofar.
-
Yeah the "world" is what I'm excited for. I want it to be more sandboxy than IV. But yeah, a huge map with lots of different landscapes and awesome ways of interfering with said landscape is what I'm psyched for.
-
Do you actually like any game? I do agree with you a bit. The game is awesome and all, but some of the bugs/ lagging I've seen on some videos are insane. How have they not got someone to fix that shit?

A Dangerous Method by David Cronenberg. It looks great. The subject matter and dialogue is VERY interesting. Acting is also good (matter of fact, I always hated Keira Knightley, but she's really good in this one) It's not boring. It's actually a good solid film, a regular 3/5 but it is not FUCKIGN AMAZING and it could have been. This had the potential to blow me away like Videodrome or Eastern Promises (both Cronenberg flicks) did. I am disappointed, I expected nothing short of amazing. Maybe my expectations were too high, I dunno. Still, if I am to put it up to everything else that is or will be out there, like the Shakespeare film (which just looks fucking ridiculous), the Nicolas Cage- Nicole Kidman (2 boring actors who mostly star in shit) which looks like suuuch a turd. Damn, the only movies worht checking out this year are probably Drive, Melancholia and Dangerous Method. EDIT: @Ivan: what you said about There WIll Be Blood is BLASPHEMY! That flick has awesome writing, need I remind you of this haha: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baIKQgWAgJY&feature=related

Lol I bet you used to tell people you used to be addicted to drug's.. When really, its just abit of puff haha and whats with the kid comment eh? I'm not the 17 year old who can't even legally move out his parents house, you are. Maybe you shouldn't put your real age on ur profile page before calling people kid's! Secondly, I was acctually quoting one of my favorite TV show's if you must know *face palm* Hemp has some pretty good use's as well, it would make a great alternative to cutting down tree's Drinking is over rated tbh.. Sure you feel great when you are drunk, but you always regret it the next day when you've got a hang over, or even worse and you give urself alcohol poisoning. You can over dose on alcohol, but you sure as hell can't over dose on marijuana! Although like some of you have already pointed out, the drug has different effect's on different people. If you really are above 17 why do you continue to portray the online image of a 14 year old? Well why do you and ur buddy ivan live in a third world country guy? So maybe I didn't have anything relevant to say, and so instead just posted a once sentanced post.. Wtf does it matter? Obvoiusly it matter's to you and ur friend, other wise he'd of left the sarcasm out, because right now. This isn't relevant. Is it? The fact you said Portugal is a third world country tells me that any further attempt at talking to you will not be a fruitful endeavor. You are right though, this isn't relevant, let's get back on topic. Spaz, I think you speak about drugs with a certain seriousness most users of drugs don't have. I do agree that things like hemp could bring great things, like you said, but drugs is still a subject people (especially the young) need to be educated on, in order to avoid stupid shit happening. WHen I say educate I'm not talking about some "don't smoke weed" whatever speech, I mean actual education, to tell people what these things are, what they do (I dunno the situation in other countries, but this type of thing doesn't happen too much here). I also think the use of drugs should be a personal freedom, especially with lighter things.

Happy birthday and congratulations on a great job.

Last thing I watched was Good WIll Hunting, we watched it in school. It's a bit of a meh flick. Kevin Smith is amongst the producers and his influence is easily spotted, in fact the dirty dialogue was the only thing I enjoyed about this movie. 5/10. Also watched Paul. I don't really know why. It's not very good but it's entertaining. Haven't been watching a lot of films atm for whatever reason, looking forward to the new Cronenberg though, that should be incredible. I also have Eraserhead and Memento on my drive and each of those probably has a good shot at becoming my new favourite film so again, no idea why I haven't watched them. EDIT: @ Ivan; Straight Story is really beautiful isn't it? I agree, very touching indeed, truly Lynch out of his comfort zone though.

Yeah I know Temple. Eddie Vedder is in that band, and I absolutely despise any piece of music that fucker shits out. Lol, portuguese rap? Can't get into it. What are you listening to? Not Valete or Haloween or those dudes?

To me Megadeth had 2 amazing albums, RIP and Peace Sells, the rest doesn't hold my attention so well, I was actually interested in the new one, from what Mustaine said in interviews it sounded like it was gonna be pretty cool, butI dont like what I've heard at all. And yeah, VU was a very influential band. And yes, the JA cover is quite good (let's face it, Jane's Addiction when they had Eric Avery? "shit was the mad notes"). And yeah, Metallica did cover those bands and certainly draw an influence, but hey, so do most musicians right? The Reed/ Tallica just thing didn't work for me. I can't even applaud both sides on being brave musically, because come on, Metallica and Lou Reed have enough money and are in such a position that they can pretty much do whatever they want. I see you like a lot of classical rock and 80s rock. Can't really say I dig that stuff. The most classic rock things I listen to are probably the occasional Led Zep. Also Sabbath. Oh and, does ZZ Top and T Rex count? EDIT: Lately I've been listening to a lot of Soundgarden and this band called Retox. Man I know everyone goes on about Pearl Jam and Nirvana, but compared to SOundgarden and ALice in Chains, those bands can go fuck themselves.

I disagree. The Jazz station was good, so were the hip hop stations. The hardcore station had Bad Brains and you cannot go wrong with those guys. The weird electronica/ambient station was also quite good. If anything, the talk radios weren't as good. Rockstar always do a fine job with the radio stations, because these radio stations portray tastes of certain times. I don't like 80s pop music, but the pop music in Vice City is a perfect portrait of what was happening back then in that genre. So maybe they have music you don't like, but it's music that fits the game and the time it is set in. Haha, I do doubt you'll see Dokken in the game, unless you have some kind of Hair Metal revival station.

If there is a MP mode I do hope it is different from IV/ Red Dead Redemption (even though I WAS IN LOVE with the zombie mode, that was sooooooooooooooo good). The regular MP on IV/RDD kind of bored me. Whereas I remember playing SAMP and that other San Andreas Multiplayer mod with some people from this forum and having a fucking blast.

Pornography on Facebook, how could this be stopped?
Dirty Harry replied to Husky's topic in Members' Lounge
I don't see the point of facebook hate. Do I see shit posted there that I don't like? Yes, and I can either unfriend the person who posts that stuff, or unlike a page, or even just hide their posts. Besides, Facebook is a tool. It is a tool for social networking, keeping contact with people etc. It is also great for getting news, I mean, by liking a lot of bands', music websites', instrument manufacturers' pages I get a bunch of news on things that interest me so easily, it's a great way of accessing information. Point is, Facebook is a tool and hating a tool is ridiculous no? You don't hear people saying they fucking hate hammers or that wrenches should be banned... And you also have control over a fair share of things on facebook, including what information you choose to make public or even just give (you don't have to give 'em your address or your phone number, you can choose to but no one is making you). You can also choose what you want to see on your wall. Do I have a particular taste for the 7th day Adventists, or those crazy evangelists, or disgusting images of abused dogs/people? no, which is why I steer clear from that bullshit. It is also great for stalking, which personally, I think is awesome. -
Doubt the map will resemble the SA one at all tbh.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if the recession had something to due with the story. GTA has always had elements of the decades it portrays, in SA you have the LA riots for example. The 80s drug gangs in Vice City. Immigration in IV.

I was also really happy about the Sabbath reunion. The sabbath records with Ozzy are a huge inspiration to me, and have had a lot of impact in music, mainly in metal, but yeah, that was really good news. I could do without the new album and be satisfied with the tour though. As for albums this year, I gotta say it wasn't a good year imo. One BIG let down for me was The Hunter by Mastodon. Mastodon were/ still kinda are one of my fave bands, their first 4 albums are perfect. But this last one is just so... bad. It has good songs but they decided to be accessible in such a terrible way. They hired Mike Elizondo as producer, you might know him from working with Eminem, Dr Dre and some other peeps in the hip hop/RnB folk. Elizondo also produces one of the shittest bands out there right now, Avenged Sevenfold, and he pretty much was Mastodons Bob Rock (you know how Bob Rock ruined Metallica via is shitty production? same thing here). Another really shit album was Lulu by Lou Reed and Metallica. I love Metallica. I hate Lou Reed. I had faith though, maybe the 2 universes could come up with something good, but they didn't. The album is pretty out there, but it's at least to me not an interesting sound, to me it is more of a Troll album, Metallica are trolling their fanbase of idiot metalheads and Lou Reed is trolling his fanbase of asshole elitist hipster cunts. There was some really good stuff though, california band Hella (instrumental/ math rockish sound) put out an amazing record. Zechs Marquise, from El Paso, put out a total masterpiece, (record is called Getting Paid). I have no idea how to describe their music, it's trippy, hipnotic, it has a lot of latin music influence, they are really amazing, check 'em out. And Opeth put out a fantastic record, Heritage. I really like most of their work, from the uber Progressive Death Metal to the more clean and prog approach of the latest record. A lot of fans hated that there was no screaming, but Mikael Akerfeldt is such a fantastic singer, and the songs are so well written, such interesting guitar playing/drumming etc. I also think some good hip hop was put out. You have Tyler the Creator and the whole Odd Future gang, who are kinda over rated but certainly something fresh in mainstream hip hop. I mean, I haven't heard a sort of famous rapper trying to piss people off since early Eminem.Tylers album was and the mixtape Frank Ocean put out was also pretty decent. Another hip hop record I enjoyed was Section 80 by Kendrick Lamar, REALLY good production, the beats are all totally chilled, and the rapping is actually pretty clever, it's not necessarily arecord you party to, it's more of a chilled and mental type of thing. J Cole is also cool even though I haven't paid an extreme amount of attention to his record. Red Hot Chili Peppers put out a GREAT record considering they lost John Frusciante, I mean, losing such an amazing musician and putting out a good record has got to be hard. I know other good stuff was put out, like Bjork or the solo Thurston Moore record, but I haven't delved into 'em too much. What did you guys like that came out this year? Or just what do you folk like in music generally.

Not only an improvement on Oblivion but on the previous bethesda efforts (noth Fallouts). And the engine for this game is different to the Fallout series (it's better, plus, did anyone notice how the cinematic execution cam was unnecessary in the Fallout series but TOTALLY awesome in Skyrim?) The game is nothing short of amazing. Everything is exciting, the landscapes, the cities, the characters you meet, the factions. It is also harder now imo, each battle is a lot more "epic", be it fighting a bear or a dragon. Chris. you should definetly get this game when you don't have a lot more to play, as this game is something you "invest into" All that aside, what sort of characters are you guys playing? Also what factions are you doing? I'm a nord. I mostly use two swords in combat, although I also use magic, mainly destruction spells, I also use sneak if I'm in a dungeon/building type situation. I am a werewolf too, which is pretty awesome, if you find yourself in battle against various enemies, you just turn and completely destroy any opposing foe. I also get around to do a bit of smithing, why pay for armour and weapons when you can make them yourself? I did like, half of the main quest (SPOILER ALERT, highlight if you wanna read: I met up with the Greybeards, learn what they could teach me and I slayed the dragon in Kyne, stopped there) and now I'm doing factions. Took on the College of Winterhold (to develop magic) and the Companions (where I use nor magic nor stealth, only swords and the occasional werewolf rampage). Joined the Dark Brotherhood as well though I'm still at incredibly early stages. I haven't yet took a side on the civil war, but I'm inclining towards the Stormcloaks, even if I don't really like Ulfric and his "racist" ideas Sooo, there you have it, a light armored, stealth/mage/warrior nord. What about you folks?

Holy shit man, I dunno if I ever talked to you about that guy, I might have, but he's yeah, brilliant. I've been listening to his spoken word/ music (Black Flag) for years now, he's one of the wisest motherfuckers ever. BY THE WAY, MARK LANEGAN WILL BE IN PORTO IN MARCH! I'm so fucking there.

I hate you.
