ok.. you need to get the vcmm ripper that i put in my previous post, with that you get the txd and dff files out of the VCM. then you can use imgtool to add those files, cos it cant add vcm.

when you just finished replacing 10 cars, editing default.ide, handling.cfg, carcols.dat and its all done in one go. then you go to start the game and it crashes.

the problem of too fast gameplay is because of dual core processors (although i have a core 2 duo t5500 and never had problems), but some people say they have problems, so when u start gta vice city, immediately alt tab out, open task manager, find gta_vc.exe right click, and click set affinity, and uncheck cpu 1 so that only cpu 0 is left selected. i know this is for speed problems but maybe this might fix your problem too.. only other thing i could think of is a corrupted file (police.mp3 in audio folder) that has all the radio chatter, and unless someone is gona upload that (its like 10+mb) or you find it yourself. i dont know that theres another way around it. but try the disabling 1 core thing. keep in mind, you have to do that every time you start gta.

vcmm is a bit retarded. for me i installed mods and they didnt even show up. manually installing with imgtool is the best way i think, despite being slower. i think there is a thing you can get to "rip" vcm files. so you can use that vcmm dodge viper and take out the txd and dff file. here u just have to enter the number in the box, then click enter and download.

well i dont really use photoshop all that much, but when i used it i had cs2, because it was the same version that they had at school. didnt want any compatibility issues (even though there might be none) i remember ms publisher, i made a document in publisher from office xp (2003 or something), then put it on usb and went to open it at school, and it says "publisher cannot open publications from different versions of publisher"...man that sucked. that was the last day i used publisher for school stuff...

yes i KNOW there is a pinned topic, but its a bit old so im making a new one oky doky, so i got the cheatdevice, installed correctly and whatever on 3.80 M33, and it works fine. but after about 10min or so, the game will just freeze and i have to turn the psp off (hold the power switch up for like 5 seconds) or pull the battery out.. is there any way around this apart from not using cheatdevice...?

ahah yeh i love that... i downloaded and was using cheat device today... man so many funny features, like someone put "tractor beam", so you point a gun at someone, then they just get dragged towards you. "aim of death", just aim your gun at someone and they're dead. hmm offtopic
