ye the same situation happened to me: it wasnt laggy, but, everyone just disappeared or something, i was running around and there was nobody anywhere. vc-mp crashes tons for me, like every 20min or so. sometimes more often, sometimes (usually not) less often. not really much u can do about it.

ok i found this awesome site. here they have savegames for gta san andreas here savegames for vice city here savegames for gta3 here these savefiles, they have made one after every mission. so say ur stuck on a certain mission, u download the savegame with that mission name, and keep on playing. there is also links to trainers, patches, cheats and screenshots for san andreas, vice city, and gta3

so i suppose u have a ps3 /360 ? totally up to you, vice city is fun. san andreas has a multiplayer feature although its sort of retarded. GTA4 is heaps of fun, and i reckon u'd like it as well. how much $ do you have - for the money u'd spend on gta4 u could get vice city and san andreas... whatever system, up to you. but pc i think would be my choice, since u can mod it so then it lasts even longer. and u can put your own mp3 music

well a lot of custom cars wont let you mod at transfender or loco or wheel arch angels..unless it says so in the mod. theres not really anything you can do, apart from uninstall the mod - or just make sure not to modify those cars in a shop. u cant really do much about it.
