well basically theres 2 main types youd be looking at, IDE (or ATA) and SATA ide is the older sorta type, although i think new motherboards also support this. sata is newer with faster speeds etc, only newer motherboards support this. when did you get your pc / what are your specs, this might help to tell which you have. you can tell through windows, go to run, type "msinfo32" on the left u see components, click the plus, then click the plus on storage, then click disks. on the right hand side it'l say model. mine says hitachi HTS541612J9SA00. ok now open google, and search exactly the model. heres mine for a example. see first result it says its serial-ata 150 (SATA).

uhh what other assets do you have? for the last few missions to trigger, for me i didnt even have the malibu club, but i had bought + completed: sunshine autos, cherry popper, boatyard, film studio, pole position, kaufman cabs, print works...basically everything but malibu. i always thought u had to do the malibu missions to unlock the final missions...but...nope i highly doubt the final missions are unlocked by packages / rampages. i hadnt even done the missions for cubans / haitians...

umm EB sometimes, gametraders, although they usually have it at RRP (99.95) or whatever. can usually get it on special at bigw, kmart, target for like $5 to sometimes like $15 or $20 cheaper

yeah i suppose like others said, lower your settings...what is it set on? i have a 7300 and its fine, im running 800x600 high details and i think 2xAA. dont think theres any lag. so probably your settings. but you say that its only when theres lots of mods together like police car? id try turn down the settings anyway

OK...what to do to fix this, right click my computer > click advanced > click settings that is just above error reporting > then above write debugging information, theres a checkbox "automatically restart". uncheck dat one, then u can write the stuff down.
