Hmm well the only experience ive had with Vista is bad. and those PC's were very fast (e8400, 6GB ram, 9600GT SLi one of them was) so idn. XP has been the only OS ive used consistently, i used ubuntu for a little. OSX on the mac's at school. 7 Ultimate RC runs perfect on an Asus EEE PC (1.6ghz atom). I doubt vista would run on that.

8000 pounds for a PC?! lol. im sure cod would run well on a $2000 aud pc. which is like 1000 pounds maybe less. hell even run well on a $1000 aud pc like this

well i dont think its false...i mean, it could be true since Windows/PC is microsoft. It makes sense for them to put it to PS3/PC since more people will buy it.

used Win7 running on a EEE with a 1.6 atom and 2GB ram. no lag either. well it took a sec or 2 to open net n stuff but thats it.

well Ubuntu is really easy to install now because it comes with the Wubi installer. Basically, you dont even need to partition your drive, just make sure you got around 10GB of free space, then you can install Ubuntu, and it just uses a install wizard. When you don't wanna use it anymore, you can uninstall it from the Add/Remove Programs menu. It's good.

that is a very big IF. two words in response to that: phone activation but on-topic, no I havent ordered it and probably wont for a while. The fastest computer in the house is my laptop (1.66core2 , 1gb ram, 120gb hdd) which would probably run Win7 OK, BUT i really really cbf backing up all my programs, music, and other stuff to external and moving it all back to my laptop it'd be like a 3 day job to do it all (backup, reformat, install, reload all stuff). if and when i get a new PC (maybe I will but ... i sorta want to save for a car first since I got PS3 for games) il put Win7 on it.

yer Apple doesn't like you using Windows. Maybe a problem with new iTunes, i still got iTunes 7 i think. yep. 7.7.11...No support for iPod touch or new Nano, not that I need it anyway. Is there anything new in the newer iTunes thats worth upgrading for? Apart from that Genius thing, seems sorta useless.

so you should get Kubuntu, Ubuntu uses Gnome not KDE ... So you reckon OSX is worse than vista?? Tbh its really not that bad once you get used to it. generally macs are pretty good. ive said this before and il say it again. when they work (most of the time) they work great, when they dont, theres something really messed up and takes forever to fix. eg ... booted up some persons powerbookG4 and it said it couldnt find a driver for cpu0 ! btw the weather code EUR|MK|MK000|SKOPJE| I used ubuntu on the desktop pc for a while, it lagged more than XP though. and whenever i went to youtube or anything with embedded video it'd crash But it was pretty cool, i liked the screensaver - flying toasters XD...and those screen effects if you drag the window and it goes like wobbly. the built in games were cool too, blackjack etc.

theres many things in GTA4 that you cannot do in SA, also there are many things in SA that cannot be done in 4 eg fly a plane. But from what ive seen, totally new physics engine, multiplayer online capabilities, the graphics are like 1000x better. the driving is more fun. not sure of the other stuff... you shouldve made your own topic for this though.

Hmmm OK. So, when you plug in your MP3 to your computer, in My Computer does it come up as a removable drive? like this >> So if it does, then you gotta click start >> search. then search for file name of " *.mp3 " (without quotes) and choose location of F:\ or whatever drive your mp3 is..

hmmm legal stumbling block but il ignore that ... plug in your MP3, and set it to be as a removable disk (maybe it does this by itself), so it comes up as its own letter eg F:\ then go to search search in f:\ for file name *.mp3
