hmm weird. when you run as a different user, can you still load your savegame ? try deleting the gta_sa.set in the GTA San Andreas User Files folder (in My Documents) if that doesnt work, you could always re-install...

Are you using a PCI or USB wireless thingy (PCI would be internal). It should've come with a CD or something with drivers on it although reading the first post (shed for 5 years) dunno your luck for finding it.

press start and right click my computer, then click manage. now on the side, click device manager. expand network adapters, check if theres any yellow ! signs or red X or anything. that should tell you if your missing any drivers.

what error does it say ? "limited or no connectivity" ? or just not connected. if you're using wireless, make sure the SSID and WEP/WPA keys are correct.

not the midi cable. do you see what i wrote. look at the links (pics). to set what you record from in audacity, up the top theres two volume controls one with a speaker and the other a microphone. to the right of that, theres a dropdown menu. click that and you can choose what input to record from.

hmm weird. make sure you've got it set to auto-assign an ip address. to do this, go to control panel -> network connections -> Local area connection. Right click local area connection, then click properties. then in the box that comes up, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), then click properties. In the general menu, make sure "obtain a IP address automatically" and "Obtain a DNS server address automatically" are selected. then click OK.

i assume this would involve changing .txd or .dff files. the body colour, you might be able to change that with carcols.dat, the colours are in rgb code from 0 - 255 (eg 144, 86 , 75)

does this help at all? also , you could plug the keyboard into your pc's "line in" (usually colour coded blue) with a 1/4" to 3.5mm , and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cord and then record it directly with audacity or something similar...
