What's the difference?

Ooh... I hate the LOTR books for too many reasons to list here... they're just so, so... so boring. And the Silmarillion... it justs exerts an air of boredom around it... I couldn't get past the first page, and even my dad, who is a huge LOTR fan, only lasted until page ten...

Seriously, it is an absolutely awful show. I might like it if it had some form of plot, or if there was some kind of continuity between the cartoon charecters dying; but all it really is a lifeless husk of a cartoon which someone tried to revive by stuffing it full of violence. I dunno... There isn't really any particular genre I like, apart from the very general label of 'rock'. I like System of a Down, Weezer, Muse, Linkin Park... other stuff. I dont really like 80s rock, and I cant stand shouty crap like Slipknot. Have any of you ever heard Psychosis Safari by 80s Matchbox B-Line disaster? I love that song!

Hi, I was wondering, do any of you guys watch Blackadder? It's quite old now, but it's still hilariously funny. I think this is the main reason. And I think it's ridiculous. I'm staying. Maybe we should e-mail Pyro and all the other ones who said they were leaving, with a link to this topic. One you forgot to mention, Chris: You're leaving because of all the shop changes, host changes, hack attacks, etc. I'll admit this has been really annoying, but it's not gonna happen again. Finally we have settled on a host, and if we get hacked twice... well, we have backups.

I think all the rules we had were really shaping up in the staff room... in fact, I think we were perfectly ready for another gang war at least a month before the forums closed! But now, without the shop mod, it wouldnt work at all... so: We should reinstall the shop mod, but be more strict. Anyone abusing it will be banned. And there should be a limit on ho wmany trading stall shops you can open, and you cant open 'Pay money for a picture' or 'pay money to get your name at the top of a list' shops: Only lottos or personal shops. Or games which are essentially like lottos (i.e, pay money for the chance of winning more money) like Ammu-Nation, but these must have limits to how far you can take the idea.

Pop Idol is broadcast on the BBC. The BBC has no adverts (apart from its own adverts, which defies the point really), and so needs funding. Where does it get it's funding from? The government. Where does the government get that money from? Taxes. Well, actually, TV licenses, but that' just TV-tax under a different name. At least, that's what I think.

And chain e-mails! Heak, I get fifty of them a day, I just cut and paste a paragraph about how sad they are and send them back to who started the e-mail... several times. Why do hackers do it? I just dont understand. Do they realise what they've done? Do they really think it's funny, destroying months worth of hard work and money? The government need to spend less money on shite like Pop Idol and more on catching and punishing hackers.

Chris, in your MSN username you said you found out who hacked you. Who was it?

Well, If the MSN convo we just had was anything to go by, that really isnt bad news.
