Moved. But I'm about to post as news anyway so I'll close this and redirect people there

I'm pretty sure anyone wanting video walkthroughs just goes to gtamissions.com these days, or gta-junkies since they seem to have hijacked the guy who does them. I guess I could email him though and see if he'd let us use his videos. What I'm saying is there's no point doing something that's already been done. It's a great idea for the improvement of content on the website though. Misho I like your idea but I've never been big into the whole you must have xx posts to access this section. From past experience, members tend to see it negatively and think along the lines of "fuck this, I'm forced to post xx posts just to get access to those forums? I'm going to GTA[websitename] instead".

She looks about 14/15... very petite (she's actually 26 apparently)

It's been quite a long time since we've posted any news about the Multi Theft Auto Team and their efforts in making GTA: San Andreas a multiplayer game, but finally they've made a developer preview of the deathmatch client available to everyone. If you already play MTA you'll be aware that one of the major drawbacks is that it currently only functions as a racing mod - this one changes all that with the much anticipated deathmatch mode. Since it's a beta mod and obviously still in development, bugs and glitches are to be expected, if you just want to get and play the game with others, head to the MTASA Deathmatch download page (which we'll update whenever they release new versions). For more information, see MultiTheftAuto.com

Thanks guys enough discussion about who you're voting for, who's ugly, who's pretty and who's a rapist. These things can be discussed later. This is just for submitting pictures for the contest. Alright we now have 4 girls which is excellent, makes the competition a bit more interesting for them. Anyone else want to submit pics? Hurry up if you do please.

GTAForums member BlueSpot has spotted what could well be the map of Liberty City in a scene in the third trailer. The screenshot (below) shows what we believe to be the map. From the left we can assume this would be Alderney (cut off), Algonquin in the middle, Broker on the right, and Bohan at the top. Obviously we can't tell for sure due to the lack of detail, but it's an interesting find nonetheless.

If you like cars in real life then it's cool to have them in game. If you mod loads of cars then you're likely to run into one if you destroyed the one you were in before. So you get to drive the cars you like.
-
Hurry up then. I was going to close the topics last night but couldn't be bothered. I'll most likely do it tonight though, so you have a few hours that is all.
-
This is pointless because GTAIV isn't out yet. We hardly know any specifics. You all suffer from a massive lack of faith in Rockstar don't you if you want to discuss the next game. Wow...

A few months ago we posted a couple of fan-made videos by Brotha, showing his excellent remakes of the first and second GTA IV trailers using GTA: San Andreas. Brotha has now finished his remake of the third trailer, "Move up, ladies" (which if you haven't seen it yet, go here). The trailer is embedded below for easy viewing, or you can go directly to the GameTrailers.com page. Enjoy, and Happy New Year everyone!

I don't care about winning in a forum (besides, Rainbow Bear is the hottest because of both her looks AND her personality, not to mention that she doesn't have to post slutty pictures to get noticed but instead uses her intelligent posts to get noticed!) I am just entering for fun! First, second, third or even no votes at all, I don't care, it doesn't make me an ugly person to not be voted for in a GTA forum. I have a man and as long as he thinks I am attractive, I don't care about being hot in a forum. You summed it up perfectly. These awards are all about fun. It's just this particular award that everyone takes oh so seriously It's all for fun!

People will need to use the second IP you said as the first one is just local to your network. You should probably use ths thread to ask if anyone else wants to play. Then decide a time when you'll all be online and start the server then.

Ripten have got some stuff wrong before on GTA4, I've actually been in email contact with the owner to tell him to stop spreading misinformation about GTA4 as it annoyed me You posted this in the wrong forum btw. Moved.

Kings of the cattle? Lowl. Yeah anyway discuss the rest of what you want done in your topic, Gerard.
-
The topic has been made. And yes there may also be some more rearrangement but I haven't finalised the idea yet, to do with the general discussion forums. The topic informs of the staff changes, warzone removal, and the general gta forum, I also briefly mentioned the forum fun and games rename.
-
First of all, a happy new year to you all, most of you are now in 2008! This topic is here to inform you about some of the changes we're making based on some of the ideas which have arisen recently from other staff and indeed regular members of TGTAP. The first of those to speak about is some changes to the staff lineup. No demotions, only promotions Sky has been promoted to administrator, being one of the most trustworthy and longest standing super mods. He's someone else I can rely on making good decisions and implementing changes we might discuss etc, even if it's just to help me out. MrLlamaLlama and rockstarrem have been promoted to Super Mod, as well as Spaz who we've given back his position. These people can now help moderate the entire forum to keep it running smoothly. Finally, MishoM and Lord Voldemort have been given more individual forums to moderate. The rest remain unchanged. The next change I'm going to talk about is the creation of the General GTA forum. This is something I never really saw the point of having, but it's clear that a number of you wanted it, so we've made it. The forum is for those topics which are about GTA, but which might cover several of the games in the series. Or, they might not be about a particular GTA, just about the series in general, perhaps future games etc. Inside this forum I have moved our GTA Classics and GTA Advance subforums, as although these are still needed and occasionally posted in, they aren't particularly active, it seems a sensible place to keep them out the way. The other major change is the removal of our infamous Warzone forum. While many of you might think this not to be such a great idea, I'll explain why I am personally doing such a thing. Firstly, the amount of topics being made there has been increasing a lot. It seems like everytime someone gets annoyed by another member theygo straight into the warzone and flame them - then, everyone else joins in, sometimes even if they aren't involved whatsoever. Granted, there were some popular and legit topics there, a couple of which are now in the Fun and Offtopic forum due to demand. For the most part, the warzone was an outlet for everyones anger, but which often spilled over into other parts of the forum, which is the opposite of what it was originally made for. Since we want to move away from all this negativity, we suggest that if a member is annoying you to the point where you feel the need to be vocal, try to settle your differences via PM. I'd like to point out that the PM function does indeed have a Block facility, so if someones tries harassing you, you can simply block them from sending you anymore PM's. Though if they tried harassing you you may want to inform an admin as we don't condone this. As I mentioned above, the Fun and Offtopic forum is the new name for fun and games. I also wrote a new description for it to better describe the content. It's a forum that some don't like, but others love. I'm keeping it because I think everyone still needs a forum where they can go to let their hair down so to speak. To get away from all the seriousness of the rest of the forum and go crazy or whatever. We'd like to see people not use this forum so much though, and aim to post more in the GTA forums since that's what we're all about. There will be more incentive to post there with more possible changes on the way though, which you'll hear about at a later date.
-
I have just implemented a few changes. I am about to post a topic about them in announcements if you wish to discuss them. In here we can carry on discussing other ideas which are being thrown around and haven't been decided on yet.
-
LOL just noticed I typed "hacked" instead of "hacker", which almost made my sentence not make sense but obviously you knew what I meant. Yeah I was actually quite surprised, I wasn't expecting very much because I thought it would be shit (making it just for the money, capitalising off a very successful trilogy) but it was actually pretty good. And was cool to hear Flyleaf on it, hope they release more stuff. They don't seem to have anything planned.

Remember last year? We don't do polls for sexiest member because it's like the most popular award it's the thing most people would attempt to cheat at. What you do is you vote for the 3 sexiest members. Your top vote would earn 3 points, second vote 2 points, and third vote 1 point. At the end of voting we add up everyones points and see who got the most. Ideally we would have had a few more girls entering (Bear, Chestnut etc.) making it a more interesting competition. But it looks like just kokane and YJ will be battling it out this year. Everyone will be ranking them 1 and 2, so actually in that case, whoever has the most votes at #1 will of course have more points and therefore win, so that will be pretty simple. They're both very attractive ladies so I'm hoping it will actually be a good competition, and hopefully we won't get everyone voting for just 1 of them... At the moment we're still going ahead with a male and female competition (2 separate awards). Today is your last chance to enter btw, so if you haven't submitted a pic or want to change one then you best do it in the next few hours!
-
Happy New Year from England! Well it was 1 hour ago but right then I was stood on Lambeth Bridge watching fireworks off the London Eye and stuff
-
The awards sound good but it's a little too late for this year. Something that could definitely be run next year though.
-
Well I was going to run it anyway for you girls. But the two hottest members might work, then again for fear of looking gay, every single guy here may vote you and/or kokane top and you two will end up winning We could actually have gold, silver, bronze medals for male and female, I'm not sure. Has anyone else got any good ideas as to how most fairly we can do this contest. Due to the massively disproportionate amount of males to females I'm not sure running one big contest for everyone would be that good, but it's something we could do...
-
Yeah I've seen all the films you mentioned and I saw the Cloverfield trailers the minute they were released (we're all big film buffs here). Looks pretty awesome but it is JJ Abrams, his stuff is hyped like hell, still, should be decent. I am Legend isn't actually that great to be honest, first half sets itself up well but the second is sort of a let down. It's also completely different from the book it's based on. I haven't read it, but I read what the differences were, and the book sounds much better in my opinion. Have you seen it or were you just wondering what it was like?
-
Actually I'm so Sick is better known from Die hard 4, it's what Matt (the hacked guy) is listening to when McLaine comes to get him, but it is also on RE:E. Their self-titled album is the only one they've released so far, also a self-titled EP but all the songs on that appeared on the album.

You're breaking the sig rules anyway, combined, they're bigger than the 500x200 we allow. So you should remove some. Userbar Whore != The most.
