I put the video in your post using the youtube tag btw so we don't have to leave the site to view it Apart from some "pro's", the only person I have seen to compare it to is 888ball when he posted one of his training videos here last year, and I think you guys are better than his after seeing this. His crew need to do another vid and post it here though for a more accurate comparison. But anyway, nice video.

Obviously since it's a Firefox Extension. I actually have that installed and have been using it for quite some time too, I should have linked to it myself in my post. Just thought I'd help you out a little... well I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but I removed the blue background and adjusted the hue on the dragon to make it red... to get this (didn't make any other changes)...

You can download wmv and mov files. Easier if you have a direct link which you can just Right click... Save As... I'll provide those when the trailer is released.

A lot of the discussion revolving around news of the trailer we posted about earlier this month was about whether or not this would be a short teaser, or a full length trailer. An article on GamesRadar has removed our collective worries with word from Rockstar that we will indeed have a proper trailer. The article itself has GR's thoughts on the Top 7 Things GTA IV Needs, however the part you're most interested in is the following. Great news for everyone who is anticipating tomorrow's release. From past experience, most notably with San Andreas trailer releases, we've found that due to the sheer popularity of the game, and the fact that every GTA fan site, every gaming site on the planet is so hyped up about this, the official site will get so much linkage it is highly likely it will go down pretty quickly, or at least be excruciatingly slow loading. Within minutes of the trailer's release we should have both hi-res and low-res (assuming that's what we're getting) versions of the trailer mirrored here on our temporary trailers page. Our server should grab it quickly enough to allow us to do this, so those of you who do have trouble accessing the site won't be left out. We'll also be analysing the trailer very carefully and posting about every important detail we can grasp from it, as well as any interesting screen caps we can get from it.

Saw this yesterday on Digg. I think it looks pretty cool, HDMI is very much needed, I'm glad they're adding that, and the 120GB hard drive is a nice improvement. Too bad I already have a 360 now

It's amazing that Sony have had such a great success with the PS3 in Europe so far. Compared to the USA anyway. It's a shame that every topic about the PS3 gets Xbox fanboys coming into it, and vice versa with Xbox topics and PS3 fanboys. Why be a fanboy anyway? There's been loads of speculation about this. I guess it could give us clues, trailer's going to be here in a couple of days though, we might see if this has any importance then. In case you're wondering, the code is actually just some javascript to fix a bug when veiwing the site in Internet Explorer.

The store is still in beta and clearly has a few bugs, restock dates will be fixed when appropriate, currently there's no need for buying any items.

In the UK the trailer will still air at 11PM. I made an error earlier when I suggested the times would all move forward an hour, sorry for misguiding some of you who read that. For other countries in Europe, just work out how many hours ahead of the UK you are.

Recently there's been a huge increase in the number of illiterate idiots here at The GTA Place, posting their topics in the wrong place. This topic has been made to explain the reasons why we have a specific forum for "Fun and Games", a.k.a spam. While we do our best to turn idiots into good members, it causes a lot of extra and unnecessary work for the staff here. As of late there have been many, many people posting their topics in The Lounge, rather than Fun and Games. The Lounge - This forum is where you can post any discussion-worthy topics which don't belong in any of the other subforums. You post here because what your topic is about has nothing to do with GTA, and it isn't about videogames, entertainment, current affairs, or computers, however, it's still something that can be discussed and made sense of. Fun and Games - This forum is where you are allowed to post topics where discussion isn't needed, posts can be made frequently and your post count won't increase because of this - nobody benefits from posting here. You post here just for fun when your topic doesn't have a serious point to it. I've been handing out verbal warnings and the occasional formal warning to rule breakers in the past week, however, after this announcement, everyone who posts their topic in the lounge which doesn't belong there will be receiving a formal warning, or something more serious if you continue to keep on breaking the rule. We try hard to have a nice and relaxed attitude around here, and keep the community spirit friendly, however, there are times like this when we need to deal more harshly with disobedient members. Clocks have literally, 15 minutes ago, gone forward all over Europe now too. Now we're all in Daylight Savings so it should be less confusing. I hope. Well anyway, back on topic, what do you think will be drastically different in GTA IV?

Yeah, I'm not sure about this whole thing. It was gonna be 6PM before daylight savings time, but it still says on that E-mail that it's gonna be 6PM...wouldn't it be 5PM? I thought the USA already switched to DST last week? We haven't switched over yet in Europe. This is why it's made more confusing. I'll try to get something posted later.

Jace it will be 11:00PM GMT, however, not sure about other countries, but the UK will be an hour ahead at that time for Daylight Savings, so for me I think it's actually going to be Midnight. I'll try and get confirmation of what time it will be for each country.

I've no idea if there will be any connections to previous iterations, I presume there will be some, but possibly not anything major. As you put it, I was talking about the gameplay and "playability". Basically a very much enhanced version of GTA than what we're used to.
