Creativity - making videos, video editing Since there's no general GTA forum, he had to use the General Discussions forum.

- sense for humor - not a pussy - never eats, and still doesn't lose muscle - he could sprint faster than a car - he could jump from a skyscraper and walk away (and that's what rolls are for) - he could change an outfit in a second - he could aim and shoot while running - he didn't have to go through flight school to fly a plane or a heli - he likes VROCK

[VC] The Return of Original GTA Master
Slayer replied to Harwood Butcher's topic in GTAVC Gameplay & Help
I have one question: Why don't you make one great video? Instead, you make vids 3 by 3. Maybe atleast make something like "The best of". Because I'm sorry, but I don't see much point in forcing the vids to come out. I know from my experience that it's better to spend time on making one great vid instead of making a few decent vids. Of course, this hasn't got to do with you. Apart from this trailer, I haven't seen your previous vids, since I can't download any files bigger than 5mb right now. But from the comments on the vid, I can tell (or atleast I think I can) that your vids were decent, but nothing special, and probebly between hundreds of others you can see around the net. So this is what I'm telling: Make a breakthrough! Make a vid that's gonna earn you some respect and make people remember you. I have lots of "amateur" vids on my comp, but only a few "pro" vids. And I remember who made those pro vids, but at the same time, I don't remember anyone that has made an amateur vid. One great vid is much more valuable than 6 decent vids. If you visit gtastunting.com you'll see what I mean. You can find all the best stunters/editors there, and only a "decent" vid there is zero. A "great" vid is an average and "uber-kickass" vid is great. people have high stakes. -
[VC] The Return of Original GTA Master

Man, this took me hours to download and play, and then I saw that 2/3 of the vid weren't stunts! It was a decent trailer imo, nothing much to comment since the stunts are less than 1s long. -

I'm on a boring holiday with my boring family. We have a house there and every single summer we go to the same boring place. Isn't that just boring???

That's just the point I wanted to mention. GTA has dynamic gameplay and lots of objects on the screen at a time. And the more objects on the screen, the more power is required to run the game at optimal framerate (25 - 30fps). And I believe that everybody would like to play GTA4 on their comp without the need to spend 1000$ on a new processor, RAM, and graphics card(s). GTA has never had high system requirements, and I don't think that will change. GTA will probably stay avaliable to most of the people, for their low/medium spec PC's instead of becoming a game that's gonna be playable only on NASA's super computers. And we wouldn't actually want that, wouldn't we? I think that all of you need to go back to reality and decide between fluid gameplay and no loading screens (like GTA always was), or having a game that will take 10 minutes to load on hi-spec PC's every 100 meters (like in Postal 2). Nobody of us will decide about that, but still, think sometimes about it.

Blah, not actually on the sea, by the sea, to be certain. Btw, how could I be out in the sea with a dial up? Or is it one of your jokes again? The water damn hot here, 27°C, and air is more than 40°C. But I'm guessing that in Indonesia it's even hotter. Am I right? Bad thing it's not my laptop, and this one has some kind of outgoing protection that allows only MS apps to acces the net. That means no Download Managers, Firefox, or ICQ. And could really put that dowload manager to a good use, since this crappy dial-up stops all downloads from time to time, but doesn't disconnect, dunno why, and this integrated download manager from Internet Explorer can't resume a broken downoad . And that means I wait an hour for a single mp3 to download, and at about 90% it brokes down, so I have to do it all again. So, instead of ICQ, I wanted to create an MSN account, but this damn laptop has Windows 2000 Professional insted of XP, and that means no MSN. In the evening I sometimes go on a Parkour training, just to stay in shape, but there are lot of people and no good places here, so this thing goes down too. But I might make a vid, since I'm bored. I have a camera with me, but no video editing apps, so it'll have to wait since I go back to Zagreb. Oh, do I have to mention that I'm bored and that's the reason why I've made this long post...

Yeah, I thought so. Silly question... Av:6/10 Sig: 10/10 Pers: Ghost92 is much better than T3RM1N4T0R (or whatever the name, I've probably miss-spelled it)

In case you haven't noticed, I'm at sea now, and still for another 3.5 weeks. And that sucks because it's damn boring here. The only potential fun is swimming, diving, and jumping into the water. But after a 100th backflip it kinda becomes boring. Anyway, I have a dial-up here so I can at least stay online.

First Vice City Stories Details from GamePro AU
Slayer replied to Chris's topic in Vice City Stories News
It would probably be kinda...pointless...to play a character that will die 2 years after. -
Might be because of variable frame rate. It happens to me when I try to load a replay recorded while the frame limiter was off. Of course, this might not be the reason. Btw what program are you using to edit? Vegas, Premiere, or something else?
-
Ph, wouldn't know... *googles* Aha, they're from [can't find even on the official site ] Btw. If you've played NFS: Most Wanted, they have their song "Decadence" in the soundtrack. Couldn't agree more...

Post GAMES YOU HAVE OR ANY OTHER SHOOTERS U LIKE
Slayer replied to chrisnick5's topic in GTASA Modding
This should be moved to gaming chat. -
It's either a damaged disc or corrupt file. Try to clean the disc using a tissue and alcohol. If the file's corrupt, well, acquire the game again.
